This might be the US branch doing shit the Japanese side of things have no idea what the fuck is going on, because they have very different teams on different projects. You saw what happened with Reuben Langdon with Street Fighter 6. THEIR team panicked because of the West and their freaking them out over it, but the Devil May Cry 5 team pretty much ignored the conflict and allowed him to continue voicing for them. Capcom as a whole doesn't have a really good track record of standards that the ENTIRE studio needs to follow. It's mostly different teams, doing different shit and Capcom (as a publisher) doesn't have enough balls to shut shit down and tell the Western branch to knock it the fuck off, because they're fucking it up for everyone.

Then again, it could actually BE that both branches are buying into this shit, and I'm expecting too much out of the Japanese side of things, but they're slowing becoming infected with this hateful shit.

If you look at the female models, you'll probably need one of those puke bags they give in airplanes. The main character is the epitome of the meme you all love to spam "you're ugly and I would not have sex with you."
Leia is also fugly.
(btw it's decent now despite being >EA, but it's way out of the scope of the post; it's just the models that look like shit, also for some reason the snipers all speak with the women voice even though only a singular faction has female snipers. so you'll see clone troopers with male bodies speaking with female voices.)

Hard to do that when you haven't even had money to pay the people you're firing and it's a third of the company all on one day. Security guys expect to be paid too and if you're obviously in a death spiral it's going to be up front.

If you're marginally important a company will move heaven and earth to keep you (see Ion H. at Blizzard, Randy Pitchford at Gearbox, Todd Howard/Pete Hines at Bethesda, and so on) so listing a bunch of disparate roles is pretty terrible. State of Decay 2 is not something I'd hang my hat on, either and I'd really rethink calling it the "defining zombie-survival fantasy game" when much better games exist.

Pronoun warriors harassed actors from the show Mandalorian into putting pronouns in their bios. It's one reason why that fat Italian chick got fired from the show, the pronoun warriors hated her for not bending the knee and basically pestered Disney about firing her constantly. Hope she wins that lawsuit of hers but I won't hold my breath.

So the answer is yes, in a roundabout way. First you get asked why you don't have pronouns in your bio and anything short of complying will be a blacklist.

Yes, there was a window of time Capcom cleaned up their act it was around the time RE2 and 7 and MHW came out. And then quickly went down hill as MTX started to creep back into games along with other shitty processes including some of those games.
