IME gem and jewellery shows have more hokey magick bullshit going on, but gem and mineral (or gem/fossil) shows tend to learn more towards science and collector crowds. I will say, though, anything that looks too cool to be true usually is. Cherry quartz, crackle quartz, goldstone, angel aura, peacock ore, titanium quartz, 99% of moonstone and opalite, "imperial" jasper, and any agate that isn't a natural color is all dyed/treated. Plus any "cheap" turquoise is most likely just dyed howlite, which is basically garbage. Granted, if that's what you like and you want to spend money on it, more power to you, but it's not like "OMG IT'S SO RARE AND SPECIAL I NEED IT!"
She'd have a meltdown over being "misgendered" (read: correctly identified as a hairy, morbidly obese woman) in any job involving dealing with the public. She's in so deep with the online gender insanity that it's rendered her absolutely unable to exist in the real world where people aren't going to buy into her delusions, and even if she were to go into a job working with fellow troons she'd blow up over some disagreement one way or another.

I am all for understanding there are certain mental health issues that do in effect render people disabled, or at least enough they can't have a regular, full time job because of unpredictability; I just find it crazy how she can regularly do something most "neurotypicals" find fucking terrifying (basically public speaking) but claim to also have horrific anxiety to the point of disability. I'd say maybe I'm being unfair/close minded but this is Staph we're talking about here and she's definitely played the system because she just cba when she sees everything she could technically do even part time as being beneath her super duper degree. She just wants all the time to slapfight on Tumblr and finger paint while fapping over fan fiction in her head. I would still love to see her SSI application to see what type of shit she had written.
