Megathread SRS and GRS surgeons and associated horrors - the medical community of experimental surgeons, the secret community of home butchers

there is always the possibility that they got knicked by a surgeon who was less than careful, such things do happen from time to time. crane knicked the bowel of a phallo patient who had to shit in a bag forever afterwards, for instance.
Thats how David Reimer fell into John Moneys sick pedophile clutches in the first place, he was being operated on for phimosis and the circumcision got botched, the doctor slipped with the cautery and ended up cutting his dick off.
The pedophile Money convinced Reimers parents the best thing to do (instead of, you know sueing the fucking shit out of the surgeon, or putting a fucking .45 under his careless ass chin and letting him explain medical malpractise to Saint fucking Peter) was to let Money remove what was left of the babies genitals and forcibly trying to convert him into a girl.

I can totally believe Rumer slipped with the fucking cautery, or just wasn't paying attention and burned this patients marks thigh, and thats what the wound on his leg is.
I'm having a harder time explaining how ol' Kathy managed to botch the amhole so badly it looks like Vlad fucking Tepes was the supervising surgeon.

how could a surgeon possible agree to do something like that? Surgeons are still supposed to be abiding by the Hippocratic oath (or the modern reformulations of it)
As nice as the oath sounds, its as much an ideal as your college freshman pictures communism.

I had a similar story with a friend who, as her relative was put under anaesthesia and readied for surgery, was entrusted with the signatures, decisions n all. Both were new in the country and barely spoke the language as the doctor just ticked off what to remove and merely glanced at her to see her agree- and when she insisted to have it explained 10 times over what uterus meant among the list of things to be removed due to possible complications and her relative being in her late 30s, she immediately declined and told me how the doctor had to erase the fucking tick. After surgery her relative naturally questioned what the fuck.
Her relative’s now got a healthy baby boy that wouldnt have been alive if she ever trusted labcoat cunts OR their oath.

On the topic of body dysmorphia and the insanity of trying to help with surgery, I have an interesting anecdote.

I was talking to a friend about the horrors of this thread, and he brought something up that was really interesting. My friend listens to the War Nerd podcast, and told me about an episode where the War Nerd himself, Gary Brecher, talks about how he had a surgeon in California remove the cartilage in his left knee, because he wanted a limp that would look like a "war wound", in keeping with his particular fixation. He couldn't remember the specific episode number, but he's going to look it up for me.

In the decades since, the operation has obviously caused an enormous amount of trouble and pain to him, and he looks back on his choice as a stupid and irrational act. But as was discussed on the episode, how could a surgeon possible agree to do something like that? Surgeons are still supposed to be abiding by the Hippocratic oath (or the modern reformulations of it). How could anyone think that a dude in his younger 20s asking to cripple himself so he can larp as a war hero was possibly an ok thing to do?

It really demonstrates (in my mind anyway) that gender is the one blind spot with this, because my friend who is in the process of peaking right now, was instantly aghast from the War Nerd's story. As soon as you remove the specific element of "Gender Affirmation", the idea of allowing someone to medically cripple themselves to match a fantasy generates almost instant disapproval in people.
There was an article the other week about some doctors that cut off a guy's fingers because of boby dysmorphia.

That oath is legally and professionally meaningless and ethically gutted, when it is taken at all. No joke, it's less serious than the dumb shit people make up these days to add to their wedding vows.
The "first, do no harm" bit (you know, the main bit) doesn't even exist, at all, in many versions. And when it does, it's extremely open to interpretation: "Cut open this guy's leg because he will be happier, and 'quality of life' is subjective, and hey, if I don't do it, he'll just find some awful unethical butcher to do it! (Which I'm not, I'm a good guy! I would never do harm!)"
Certain types of doctors- surgeons especially- are essentially fucking sociopaths. Just like with some CEOs of massive companies, hedge fund bros, whatever, you kinda have to be
This strangely reminded me of German dudes back in the 19th-early 20th century cutting their own faces to imitate fencing scars (which was a cool thing at the time, and the academic fencing was pretty much two guys standing still and trying to stab each other in the faces) because of whatever reasons that prevented them from getting them in the real deal... But getting the scars that way totally missed the point of what that scars mean.
Oh hell YES the mensur scars! Here are some real ones (one guy mid-fight, another after healing)

I read about the guys who would make the phony cuts instead of actually being involved in the culture and dueling, and they were rightly regarded as clowns.

This is a common arguments made by medical professionals and supporters of truscum. The people who think the troon activism is going too far, but "some people are really trans and we have to help them!"

That what they're doing is 'harm reduction' Where they recognise that they're doing harm and that it would be off-limit without the surrounding context. But they then justify it that it would be better to butcher the patients because they are so psychologically distressed that they'd eventually 41%, go for the back alley shop, or butcher themselves. But the catch with 'harm reduction' mindset is that the other solutions probably exist. But requires significant effort. So A lot of doctors probably feel like they couldn't do anything else to help or spare any more energy to deal with them so they just give in and give up

The issues with DSM 5 largely come with the treatment recommendations. The diagnosis is fine and stronger than prior. The issue is that now "affirmation" is the standard and only correct method to treat the patient. Now it at least has the proviso that a legitimate professional would wait six months before diagnosing to at least ensure the affirmation is correct, but the reality is that this not done. It's given the gender butchers and the Tavistock clinicians and the "I'd rather a sterile daughter than a gay son" hags a green light to get everything done their way. It's gotten so bad that now the DSM 5 requirements are only paid lip service to, as we well know.
The issues with the dsm is that it's a bunch of unscientific garbage backed up with little to nothing, like most of psychology. Here's a video that talks about it:

Because Medicine has been degraded into a service industry: he who pays the piper calls the wound.

Whose update? Everyone's talking about Rumer's three-hole wonder and this case is not it.

I never understood why would anyone fake Mensur scars? You're still getting a big ol' slice across your face, you might as well have the fun of the duel otherwise whats the point?
Mensur clubs were pretty close knit, anyone who would know (and respect) the scars would be able to figure out pretty quick if someone was a poser by finding out who he knew and who knew him.
Without the Mensur club membership you just have scar that marks you out as their version of a Stolen Valor faggot.

It is stolen valor, but really the phenomenon is quite common (see @batteredpancakes video above) and directly relates to troons. It's the same thing as the jeans sold with holes in them. The origin of that trend was to imitate the look of jeans that had seen a lot of wear from travel or use. But like in all these cases, the symbol becomes its own signifier separated from the original meaning, the desirability in the mind of many no longer related to anything other than the symbol itself. That is what a neovagina or neophallus is.

@behindyourightnow called this out to me a while ago by mentioning Baudrillard and his book Simulacra and Simulation. The process of the precession of simulacra he describes is this exactly. It was a really good articulation and clarification of a social phenomenon that is really ubiquitous in modernity. An interesting read if you are a tedious philosophy nerd.

Edit: come to think of it, even the trans obsession with XX versus XY is sort of leaning into this too. They don't understand that genes are the mechanism for sex determination, they understand the genes a symbol signifying male or female that they try to dismiss. There's no underlying reality anymore, there's just the idea that you are coded one way or another for an arbitrary reason.

Just thought this old post on this very subject deserves to be highlighted for this discussion.

And here's a link to the Alan Watts video being referenced, aptly titled "The Symbolic and the Real". Trannies would gain so much from listening to something that was well-known in academic circles over half a decade ago.

The return of Ashton on TikTok. She’s a memorable one. Her doctors grew a urethra in her arm which after 4 months was unviable when placed into the rot dog. Months of complications and catheter eventually culminating in the fearful and true horror of the Johansson technique. I think we all remember the disturbing updates from hospital bed post buccal grafts. She was in a pitiful / pathetic state. She was discussed here and by Exulansic who gave her special attention. Anyway she got married to miss piggy and apparently happy ever after.
Someone more talented than I might want to post her timeline links.
She doesn’t seem that perky in the vids Ive just watched, noticeably weighty around the face and generally seems jaded. Can’t put my finger on it but she seems nervous, bumbling. Maybe PTSD?

Open at your own risk
“she assured me that it is a fully functional vagina.”
Yes just leave the necrotic tissue there for months, I’m sure it won’t attract flies… Imagine the smell, or actually don’t.
It looks like a weird-ass monster face, much like the ones on that old After Dark screensaver, FrankenScreen!

Vegetable_Error_3220 has had stage 2 (glansplasty).

Week 8 post op w/ Dr. Del Corral
Nearly two months after phalloplasty and half a month after glansplasty, and everything seems to be healing very well surprisingly! I was thinking about what tattoos I should get to help cover up my scars, any suggestions? I was also thinking about getting a Prince Albert piercing because I thought it would be cool and I might as well get it while I can hardly get anything. Feel free to ask any questions!
