there are some games that have solid gameplay elements, like Karryn's Prison (rpg sex battle, building management), Imperial Gatekeeper (groping simulator), Cloud Meadow (breeding simulator), Future Fragments (platforming), and Pure Onyx (beat 'em up)

To that list i' would add Midnight Castle Succubus, a Metroidvania with 8bit graphics, it is decent enough, and you can turn the porn off, and Mirror a match 3 game.

if you're talking about games where the gameplay is so good it would be a solid game on its own without the porn, basically no. 95% of adult games are visual novels or RPGM games, 4% are sex simulators, and the remaining 1% are passion projects that fail most of the time because making just a regular game is hard enough without the distraction of making it with only one hand

I say there's some porn games made in RPG Maker still worth playing as JRPGs, but yeah, you're right, making a porn game with some real production values, even something like from the PS2 era it is flat out not possible.

Not exactly what you want, but there's a "game" called Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll that isn't worth looking into. It was meant to be sexy xcom with Cthulhu stuff. Unfortunately, the game is vaporware. Another victim of the Patreon Yadere Simulator money pit where the dev collects monthly donations, makes few meaningful updates, and spends their time blocking criticism and questions on Discord.

I remember its original Fallen Doll game was a nice VR demo, and the model it used was very sexy. Shame it turned into the weird thing it did. Even before it went vaporware, the devs were planning to turn it into a weird always-online thing after the Operation Lovecraft version had a few releases. Basically a "fuck random people online" simulator.

Sengoku Rance, Kamidori Alchemy Meister, Baldr Sky are the big 3 off the top of my head, all came out more than a decade ago and the gameplay still hold up. Aside from those, pretty much every Eushully title is "skip the obligatory porn scene so you can go back to the SRPG sooner."

The same publisher also came out with Scarlet Maiden and FlipWitch. The first being a roguelite like Rogue Legacy and FlipWitch being a metroidvania. I found both to be fun. I own Midnight Castle Succubus but haven't played it yet.

On another note: I've always enjoyed Huniepop. I enjoy its variation of Bejeweled and the music/locations are pretty nice. Dialogue is usually cringy/silly (and I haven't beat/completed the second one) but I'd still say it's a worthy addition to match 3 shenanigans.

Nevermind, it's literally a photograph visual novel with only the fun bits having any motion. Each chapter only gives you four two-option decisions you can make, and when you name your character you have to define whether the girl you live with and knew since childhood was your sister, cousin, or something else. But it's only $7 and seems to let you skip to any unlocked scene
