No updates. But I suspect that they will eventually turn out to be cardboard boxes with handles in the shape of an oversized lunch box. Doing actual custom metal boxes in lunchbox form of a size sufficient to hold all the comics in the campaign would be very difficult. Especially doing all the design work for only 1500 units. He could have promised normal-sized lunchboxes and gone to someone to have them done at a reasonable price. But he has promised the comics inside the box which means it has to all be custom.

Yup. EJ isn't a small fish, but Drinker/Gary are a lot bigger than him. Drinker being bigger than most/all on the not CG side. Has contacts in the industry and whatnot. I'll probably give one of his books a try eventually this year, but he has a following there as well. Gary would probably be next on the list. Both Drinker/Gary get early releases on stuff on occasion I believe.
