Mega Rad Gun Thread

California is having a Gun Buyback event in Lynwood, California on April 20. Better pull out your 3d printer, because this week is payday.
Read that little tag about the 3d printed and homemade guns there.
That translates to "they aren't guns till you drive off the lot and we pull you over for having illegal guns".
That when you order a bunch of trigger springs.

A .41 Mag, after shooting some Underwoods (reportedly). Sad, because I quite like .41 anything.

But this redditor seems to have a habit of asploding handguns....

Still... he's been fucking around with .460 Rowland, which is something that's piqued my interest lately. I just can't afford anything like that Wilson anytime soon.
(:_(
Think he tests cool +P+++ ammo he reloads himself? It's hard for me to imagine blowing up a revolver like that unless that ammo is way hot.

A pipe shotgun might actually be the move for these things. Unless you can
Just go to a junkyard and get 2 sizes of pipe, hot glue in an end cap, and make a shitty stock with hose clamps, a jigsaw, and a 2X4. That's an easy $190 profit, but even if you go the Lowe's route you're still looking at a solid $160 profit.

It'd be pretty hard to build an aSsAuLt RiFle and still turn a profit with $300, unless you print an Orca or 10/22 tactical style kit. Ideally you'd print the barrels or use some kind of cheap pipe, and print the bolts and internals. It only needs to survive one round if they doubt you, so why not 5% infill with ancient filament?

They say evaluated for value, they didn't say drive off the lot. I will take the risk because someone has too. Wish me luck.
People like you need to take the risk, if not everyone will end up controlling you. Like Jstark quoted from Major General John Stark
"Live free or die."

I get your mindset dude, but why would you trust California law enforcement or courts on something that looks like such an obvious fucking trap? Try the pipeguns the first time around and see what happens, you can get cheap as fuck with pipe shotguns and hyper crude .22 caliber zip pistols with brakeline for barrels.

On this topic, has anyone else seen the influx of Gangster Pajeets on YT shorts? I'll get one every now and again with some BANGALANGALANGALANG music in the background, and some dude with crusty toenails in flip flops showing off single shot pistols chambered in like, 30-30 with three grimy bullets with pushed in tips. It's a fucking ride if you can catch em, all the comments are like, "Brother of mine. Listen listen, what would the great Satisvana think of your dark heart?"
"I do not care, Pajiti. I am for living of gangster life."
All this to say, some of these Indian gangbanger single shot rifle caliber pistols look really awesome, I'd love to shoot one. They all look the exact same too, so I wonder if there is some factory pushing out these things en masse.

You gotta post one next time you come across it, that sounds hilarious. Owning firearms in India, legally, is a major pain in the ass. The vast majority of arms owned are illegal. It'd be interesting but I doubt they have a Philippines situation where they're making tons of homemade arms. A lot of their guns are old as firearms became much harder to get by ~1960 if I remember correctly.

Why should I trust California law enforcement or courts on a entrapment? That is part of the risk a lot of California gun owner who have to deal with gun control law over here. If you don't have that mindset to take that risk, you are better off someone controlling you and taking away everything. That is the risk everyone have to take to be free.

Also that zipped gun might be cheap, but no one has that skill and time to get 13 separate parts as assembly that into a working firearm. You are better off getting a Ender 3 3d printer and deal with 4 separate parts from a Harlot. Or get a CNC machine which a lot of gunbuy organizer don't realize how cheap a GB22 cost to make. Which is my next plan for the gun buyback, is post a box of metal mill GB-22 which only cost $5 to build.

The way they NEVER shoot and only have like, 3 bullets. Sometimes they'll load one, crack the pistol back open, pull the same shell out and then load it in the next one they're showing off makes me believe they really don't waste ammo up there.
But the thing is, these pistols aren't like, luty level contraptions. They're nice. Like, rifled barrel, gun steel (at least on appearance), actual front and back sights, wood grips and....well, given how small they are, you can't really call it a foregrip. They look professional, like I'd buy one if I can find it. They sort of remind me of these.
Just shrink them down, immensely. To the point where I don't think any of the rifling in the barrel would matter for such a long cartridge.

I think I found the term for these guns "katta." It seems I was wrong, they do have some decent scale of private illegal arms manufacturing lol.
Here's a real ass desi flex

You fucking mad man. You did it. These are rougher than the ones I saw, guess I got the blingier poo. But those are the pistols.

I don't want to shit up the thread. But you guys need to look up Desi Katta in YouTube shorts. You get gold like this dude flexing his gun with the bullets backwards in the mag.

The issue with anything smoothbore that's not a shotgun is that it's actually an NFA item. You'd probably be fine if you were gonna destroy the thing, but you really don't wanna get puled over, let alone BRING it to cops. You can simply avoid that shit by whacking an AliExpress rifling button through whatever you have, or maybe even just tapping a portion of the muzzle. Who says you can't have a 30-1 twist barrel?

Tbh I like the CMMG bolt way way better. I feel like it's capable of better accuracy if using an aftermarket dedicated barrel, and the higher cap mags are generally better. That said, the 10/22 can be much more compact and low profile if you do a pistol type setup. The AR body is way too fucking bulky for a .22lr, especially for a pistol setup.
