There's so much you could do with Darktide. A shame it just comes off the same few couple of missions. They manage to make L4D stuff seem fresh.

After awhile the grind just hits a wall and it gets boring. There's so much potential for new classes/enemies. Why not add ratlings, skitarii, squats or kasrkin as playable classes? Balancing the weapons would be a challenge, but think of the gameplay potential. That goes for enemies too. They could add more Nurgle daemons or maybe even a Plague marine as a boss.

I've seen the troons and the coomers and the like claim that MTG and D&D are doing much better financially after they openly started shitting on their existing customers and started chasing modern audiences. Is this true? Cause I seem to remember both MTG and D&D had massive layoffs over the past few years. Just absolutely abysmal numbers. For example the Baldur's Gate 3 guys were saying they literally didn't have any contacts at WOTC that hadn't been fired.

People have been doing this for YEARS and its honestly a genius move in hindsight for GW the more i think about it

It angers me because the gameplay is close to perfect. The enemy sound cues (when they work) and map choke points designs are better than most games out there.

You have an easier time finding recasts than bothering to print but im sure 3D printing will hurt GWs bottom line if continue to just print out warhammer models. You will only ever hurt GW if you guys played other games. Like the culture behind 3D printing sucks becasue its like if you wanted to pirate a game but you can only pirate different versions of Call of Duty.

Lord of Excess is right up there with Fulgrim as “the” Slaanesh novel, kinda like how Lords of Silence is the definitive Nurgle novel.

I like that the EC in this are “charisma marines” if any legion can solve things without firing a shot it should be these guys. It’s got some time skips so far and the plot feels like it should’ve been a trilogy but Xantine is joining Decimus, Marduk, Vorx and Honsou as the “book only” Chaos Lords who are far more impressive than their tabletop counterparts who have models.

I hate the Fabius trilogy btw, it watered him down so much and took the badass monster maker who was one of the first corrupted marines (predating the birth of Erebus or the discovery of Chaos) and made him into an egalitarian, mouthpiece for what felt like author criticism of the setting. That shit sucked, the ending fast-tracking him seemingly back to Chaos (compare this man to how he is in Fulgrim and Angel Exterminatus, then try to tell me he’s the same guy) was bull. Also a human woman taking over an EC warband was straight-up bull, we know what these marines do to humans, no way they would listen to a mortal woman.

I love economics because the overall TTRPG market is someone who is actually designed tabletop games is insanely small compared to video games television movies or TV we're talking maybe at the highest 5 billion the USA to Israel is more than that so if you lose $20 million on a release you are ******

It happens on /tg/ , it happens in this thread. The sad fact is you all including me are sad battered house wifes who will never "truly" leave warhammer.
