No, that's pretty accurate based on the twitter spergs that were swarming some of the big name "chuds" that were objecting to this. The smug cunt levels were off the charts. They're not motivated by a desire to see cool shit added to the game, or to make the game better, or anything like that. They just really fucking hate the "other side" and want to see them suffer.

Well, I am dropping 40k for good.

Was fun while it lasted, sperging wouldn't do a thing as kikerock and vankike are funding it.

Boycotting doesn't work for this reason either, but you can at least not give them more money or any engagement.

So I am dropping all 40k products, even video games, and laughing at this trainwreck here will be my only interaction.

Mostly trying to finish my Nob with Bosspoll. Know that model is pretty much gone stat wise, but hey still has fun kitbashing it so why abandon it.

Remember there are more war gaming systems out there than just GW games , GW did not invent wargaming and they don't own wargaming.
The Problem stems from GW is for some reason a public held company, so the stock holders don't realize that Warhammer is not something that can ever have mass appeal.
Most people don't have the desire or interest to build or paint models, and learn the rules systems. ( I don't think a lot of GW shareholders even know what a wargame is and probably think they own shares of a video game company.) But for any Warhammer fans, you don't owe GW anything. Here is a small list of alternative Wargaming systems starting with the most Warhammer(40k) like to a history based wargaming system.

One Page Rule's Grimdark Future Firefight literally just not 40k You can even use your 40k models almost 1:1 conversion. Also they don't care if you 3d print your own models.

Mantic's (founded by former GW people) Kings of War basically improved on classic Warhammer Fantasy, even has its own lore that people fallow.

Warlord Game's (also founded by former GW people) history based Black Powder, A wargame with models and settings based off of military history. If you want to see Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army vs Otto Von Bismark's Prussian Army this is the wargame for you.

3D printing is always an option too just don't give GW your money but still keep the fire on them though. They need us we don't need them.

Very much, only reason to have a GW army in the backpocket is if you really want to wargame but people only play GW slop, but there are a ton of systems around and you only need 3 or more like minded individuals to keep a game going way beyond it's lifespan. There's a lot of awesome shit floating out there.

These all sound cool, but heres the problem. I can have an easier time finding people to play 40k, AOS, Kill Team or Necromunda, than finding people to play any of these wargames with. This isnt an TTRPG thing, where I fan find people to play somethin besides D&D.
