These work camps had soccer leagues, brothels, swimming pools, dental care provision, etc.
These were for different subgroups. The four largest camps in Eastern Poland, each, had an area of dozens of square miles of facilities.
They contained a mixture of slave labour and skilled labour. Skilled labourers from "some" subgroups were permitted and paid - such as German Communists. Jewish skilled labourers were killed, out of fear they would sabotage the operations.
