Remember, the funniest outcome would be it does not make it into the race at all. Which would be quite the problem for EVS given the campaign said it will. If Cody at least starts, EVS is in the clear there.

I know @Strix454 said Cody is supposed to essentially auto-qualify, but it could still fail tech inspection, or not fire up, or Cody could have an anime rabbit-related masturbation injury, or something.

My money is he makes it into the race but doesn't finish.

I trust that Camelot and friends can find exceptional ways to fuck up and I hope they don't disappoint. However, with the entry list now locked in, unless the team owner decides to replace Camelot and gets the green light from ARCA for a driver swap, Camelot's set to hit the track. If Camelot's ride clears the initial inspection, he's pretty much locked in for a DNS (Did Not Start) in the final results, regardless of whether he kills himself during practice or turns both his cars into scrap metal. Perhaps a legal expert like Rackets could tell us if an official DNS fulfills the campaign pledge.

On a side note, it seems Frankie Muniz is taking the wheel of the number 30 car. Should Cyberfrog somehow kill Malcolm in the Middle, I believe that is yet another sign of the impending Apocalypse.

Yes. ALL CAPS comics is now listed up there with Donna's Doughnuts, Hardcore Fish&Game, Nerd Focus, Zaki Ali Injury & Criminal Attorney, West Virginia Department of Tourism, the Immigration Law Center, and a North Dakota VFW/Training program for Veterans (Bellator Recruiting Academy).

There is no qualifying for this. Its on team points. The drivers jointly only get one hour total of practice time on the track and even that is being done in groups. Practice is at 3pm on friday. I would expect Camelot to start near the very back.

The race itself is at 11:30am CST saturday. Its 76 laps or 202 miles. Broadcast on FS1 (cable) and streaming on the Fox Sports App.

In the 2023 race, 16 of 34 cars finished on the lead lap. 13 of 34 cars had quit before the end of the race. 10 of those 13 did 23 laps or less in the race.

IIRC, he also announced it on BBC yesterday. Looked like the stream stroked out early on over one of those insta-outages, like from a tree limb shorting a couple of lines or a car hitting a power pole. Even with UPS, that can be a PITA.
