I’d imagine that it’d be like The Wall in that Berserk fans would crucify Doug for going after a beloved piece of media and reducing such a mature work with such poignant themes into a bunch of jokes.

Clickbait title, it's not really killing trailers as much as it doesn't evoke the same emotions as watching with a crowd of people on the big screen. On which I agree. It reminds me of how some director complained his movie was not intended to be seen on a mobile phone.

I like that’s he’s starting to make editorials again. They slowed down during the whole singles and after effects, so hopefully this is a sign he’s feeling more up to making them again.

I still miss when trailers from the 80s through the 2000s used to have announcers. They were camp for sure, but they still had more soul unlike what trailers are nowadays

Guess this kind of my fault.
I also had a Nostalgia Critic related dream once, but it had some disturbing implications so it's a long story for another day.
Edit: posted the new video but SteelPlatedHeart posted it first.
