That's a funny definition, to be sure.
There's nothing funny about killing. Only someone who is evil would refer to killing as "funny" in any way.*

Is anyone who promotes social or festive drinking an alcoholic?
Often, yes, but not always. I promote being sober.

Is anyone who votes for a communist party supporting Stalinism?
Sometimes, but It 'Aint Necessarily So. When was the last time someone had the option to vote for the communist party anywhere?

(Reincarnation) doesn't exist. Jews who have "views" of reincarnation are most likely mistaken.
I've had many Jews tell me they believe in reincarnation and some have told me, "All Jews believe in it." A young rabbinical student a few years back told me that. All Jewish Kaballists believe in reincarnation. I AM reading a book by a rabbi on reincarnation. (I don't know where it is right now and don't remember the title.)

Y'shua bar Yosef taught reincarnation and science has now proven it - google that.

By the way, Star Trek isn't scripture.
No shit, Sherlock. But William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were Jewish, so there was some gefilte fish in deep space.

You shouldn't really be quoting it in a scriptural argument.
Wrong! You really should be recognizing the power of synchronism. G-D was/is sending you some BIG messages!

And if you are going to quote Sci-Fi TV, at least make it Babylon 5.[/QUOTE]
Babylon 5 is not currently on any of my cable channels.

Synchronism: 18:24 "Eco-Brickell has a construction accident." - Ch 10, ABC (Did that TNG episode refer to the aliens as "Ecos"?)
Synchronism: 18:20 "The old-fashioned way." ad for eyeglasses 18:26 "He says communism works." - political ad

"This is almost an apocalyptic scene." - 'ISIS torches oil fields as Iraqis advance', on ABC World News, 18:42

Thanks for the update on what' s on TV, but about that drivers license?
Hey, just realized that being a felon, you can't vote, can you? I know some states has restoration processes, but I don't know about Florida.

why was your license suspended?
I got pulled-over for having a taillight out. I was told to appear in court and show them I had repaired it. I fixed the light, but never received a court date* in the mail. Later, I was pulled-over for something minor and then the cop tells me my license is suspended and writes me up for that. Etc.

I'll buy that. Usually court dates are on the tickets, but remembering numbers correctly isn't really your forte.

What about voting privileges?

Good on you for finally answering a question.

There's nothing funny about killing. Only someone who is evil would refer to killing as "funny" in any way.*

The definition is funny, absurd, strange. Killing is not.

Often, yes, but not always. I promote being sober.

Except of course, that God mandates the drinking of wine on numerous festival occasions.

Sometimes, but It 'Aint Necessarily So. When was the last time someone had the option to vote for the communist party anywhere?

Anywhere? Well, given that you currently have communist parties in power in Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Greece, Nepal, Palestine, Portugal, South Africa, Syria, Uruguay, and Venezuela, I suppose it would be the last time any one of them had an election at the very least.

I've had many Jews tell me they believe in reincarnation and some have told me, "All Jews believe in it." A young rabbinical student a few years back told me that. Jewish "Kabbalists" rest their beliefs on a copy of the Zohar which was supposedly written by Shimon Bar Yochai in the early 2nd century. Somehow, it manages to have Portuguese words in it. It's a joke. If you've been hanging around the lunatic fringes, I suppose you'd find some people with syncretic Jewish inspired beliefs who adopt reincarnation, but it is in no way a mainstream Jewish belief.

No shit, Sherlock. But William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy were Jewish, so there was some gefilte fish in deep space.

And Jesus was Jewish too, and that didn't stop him from being wrong about all sorts of things.

Most Jews believe in reincarnation.

Jews have different views on reincarnation
Am I the only person who thinks this is a bit on the contradictory side?
When was the last time someone had the option to vote for the communist party anywhere?
In the U.S. 2012 election, you could have voted for James Harris of the Socialist Workers Party (another name for the Communist Party). In the upcoming election, you can vote for Monica Moorehead of the Workers World Party which is run by the Communist Party.
I AM reading a book by a rabbi on reincarnation. (I don't know where it is right now and don't remember the title.)
Is that the same one you were telling me about weeks ago? You still haven't found it? Are you even looking for it? Are you sure you own it?
Voting rights are restored to felons almost everywhere once they've completed any probation/parole requirements. But not Florida. Florida is fucking nuts with that shit.
Most felons can have their voting rights restored after serving their sentences/parole/probation. All they have to do is write the Commissioner of Voter Registration in Tallahassee requesting the restoration of this right. There is now a law waiting to be passed in the State Legislature that would restore it automatically once a sentence has been served. The only exceptions are convicted murderers and sex offenders.

It used to be that all the former Confederate States had KKK-influenced laws that prevented felons from voting. This is how they took the right-to-vote away from the newly-freed* black man. They'd charge 'em with bogus crimes and then tell them if they plead guilty, then they're free to go. But if they insist they're innocent and want a trial, they could go to prison for years. I think there's only one other state now along with Florida that has this law.**

Yes, in Florida you have to apply to have your*** voting rights restored. This is why George Bush (Jr.) won the 2000 Election. There were almost 200,000 felons who had served their time who weren't allowed to vote - including me. By almost unanimous vote, they would've voted Democrat.

Let's all take a moment to savor fully the fact that Brad managed to get a felony from something that started with a busted tail light.

A. Busted. Tail. Light.

And you say we're the idiots?

I bet Albert Einstein knew how to read a traffic citation.

Jesus son of Joseph never killed anyone - he never hurt anyone.
Your knowledge on Jesus is rather limited, Dick.
As has been said, he beat up a group of merchants and money lenders with a whip. He also cursed a fig tree for being barren.

At least tell me what techniques you use to get into your trances.

Brad needs some new angles. His shtick is getting old.
This. It's a lot of fun to engage Brad for some time, but ultimately, his refusal to aknowledge when he's been proven wrong makes this spin in circles until we become almost as autistic as him. He's just endlessly regurgitating his meaningless, absolutely worthless theories that have been proven unquestionably wrong over and over and over again. Sure, everyone that enters this thread brings in a new way to completely annihilate Brad's nonsense (which is funny to watch), but ultimately it goes nowhere (which is kinda lackluster).

Point in case:
Y'shua bar Yosef taught reincarnation and science has now proven it - google that.
I lost count how often I have posted bible quotes that completely contradict this idiotic nonsense that is entirely rooted in Brad's wishful thinking without any connection to reality. :heart-empty:

Yes. No. Not really. Yes.

Correct, except if for some reason they don't feel like restoring your voting rights, they don't have to. And the State of Florida* Government is currently being run by a RepubliCON Governor and Legislature.

There is now a law waiting to be passed in the State Legislature that would restore it automatically once a sentence has been served. The only exceptions are convicted murderers and sex offenders.
Notice how this law didn't come up for a vote before the election. And unless a miracle happens (and they sometimes do), after the election Florida will still have a RepubliCON controlled legislature and the RepubliCON Governor is NOT up for reelection.

Dumbass, Einstein didn't drive.
