It's a "proper" education in that this is what 90% of degrees are now. It's a paper mill for idiots.
If you can read a course syllabus, you can pass these classes. There's no actual analysis or difficulty. It's not like finance or accounting or physics where you need to learn an entirely new language and technical skills to actually understand the content, let alone get good grades. You are essentially reading theories and histories about different ways of electioneering and marketing. You read the syllabus to know what exactly the question in your papers or the tests is asking, then you skip to that part of the textbook and write it down to memorize it or cite it later. You aren't learning advanced calculus.
It's a very interesting topic, but ultimately these classes (especially with a bachelors) boil down to just reading about theories of being popular. How to get your message out, how to make it stick, how to change your message to suit your audience, etc.

They've been warming up to firearms since 2016 it seems. TDS drove a lot of them to form their own little gun groups out of paranoia of being genocided by the "undesirables". I've heard of the john brown club.
