The whole "durr realism equals brown lol modern games suck" thing hasn't been applicable for a very long time. I mean as far back as skyrim games have been realistic as well as vibrant and colorful. Hell, even the newest Call of Duty games (which Bob considers to be the antichrist) have some pretty damn great visuals themselves.
