I think it's the combination of her OP being redone, it getting featured and a generally positive response towards the changes. Elaine's biggest gripes with any site have been her desire to control the narrative about her. Null seemingly approving of the changes and the detailed history (which she claims is all wrong, mind you) is a betrayal in her eyes. Despite him hardly engaging with her she has this parasocial relationship where she filled the gaps with her own delusions and believed things that were far from the truth. Realizing she could no longer cling to this idea of Null she had in her head, she's acting out.

I'd wager because her OP was very simplistic and didn't show her true colors, was what made her popular in the first place, because people didn't see her a tough guy. Now that it's rewritten and as comprehensive as it is, she doesn't have control what people think of her anymore because now they're exposed on what she truly is. She's mad that now her reputation is truly shot dead and buried, and now all she had left is her simps.

No shit, I am asking why it's picked up so much right now even tho she has been kind of calming down about him a bit the last months and even defended him towards some people on Twitter and said she regretted joining #DropKiwifarms.
