I am gonna go on a limb here and say most of them are lying about getting news from NYT and saying they do just because of inertial reputation of being New Yorkers.
The trial has become de facto the campaign. The political ads which are still happening are a little money laundering on Biden side and Trump's rallies.
There are plenty of ways for the rulling parties to cancel or rig the election still. The problem is the cost to do so has grown massively since 2020 and it is simply not worth it to do most of them. They can cross the Rubicon all they want but they know doing so won't be worth it and they have little chance of success.
Normie dems getting angry at those ads makes perfect sense. They did their part and voted Orange Man out and the DNC didn't fulfill their side of the bargain.

Newsweek is toilet paper, they just waited for the one two week period where this was true, 3/25-4/7, and deliberately ignored everything before and after.
They also incessantly pushed that disqualification bs and claimed that actual faggot John Castro was going to get Orange Man disqualified. (He got laughed out of court a half dozen times instead.)

Very fortunately I make enough to not be too negatively impacted by increased prices at the grocery store.
However, I was at the store the other day and a box of 20 frozen hashbrowns (rectangular McD's style) was $6.89 here in Texas. This was the store brand and I've bought it for over a decade at like $1.25, oftentimes even under $1 when they had sales. Straight rustled by that shit.

Something not being talked about is that the left is giving some resistance to the jews. Between the quiet, entrenched, dual citizenship incumbent candidate from tel aviv and the "from the river to the sea" chanting trust funder/terrorist immigrant, with no other option, I'll vote for the enemy that tells me he's my enemy and deal with him later. I'm far from the only person I know with this sentiment.
I know that same box, I cook them in lard and season them with MSG whenever I crave fast food hashbrowns (mimics the taste pretty well). The 10 count box is more common these days at 3.42. Haven't seen the 20 count box since covid in my area. Also in Texas.
Aldi and walmart are starting to have the same prices on a majority of items. Sometimes walmart is cheaper. Couple of years ago aldi beat out walmart by a long shot but these days not so much.

There is zero chance Trump gets anything but 100% guilty until he appeals it out of NY. The whole Dem apparatus is aligned against him and any judge knows what their fate will be should they fail to deliver the correct verdict in their court.
This is all just going thru the motions until Trump gets, hopefully gets, an appeal somewhere other then a Jew York courtroom.

I don't go out to bars in my experience, but I do get a fair about of ride-sharing. The only person who openly supported Biden was a old black lady who looked half insane. And I'm in a fairly blue district

Foreperson is one I would say probably has a right-wing bent. Interesting mix of news sources, covers the gauntlet from Left-to-right. Makes me think he's a politico in my vein. Juror 2 reeks of naive eagerness which could be good or bad, definitely right-wing.
Juror 3 is a lawyer. No clue how he was kept on. Could be the best or worst thing depending on if the prosecution pulls any bullshit. If they do, this guy will almost certainly catch it and bring it up. Same goes though for Trump's side pulling shit.
Juror 4 is a mixed bag all around. Expat from Calie to New York, sounds left-wing to me, still better than who he is replacing
Juror 5 basically ensures the best case is a hung jury. Childless woman, teacher for "English Langue Arts", and gets her news from Tik Tok. The only thing giving even the slightest glimmer of hope is she half-praised Trump so she is not terminal TDS.
Juror 6 is…. Vapid nothingness. Software Engineer, woman, with a dancing hobby. None of these really give any details.
Juror 7 is another lawyer and a civil litigator. Married, with kids, has disagreed with Trump politically but I actually find that admission a good sign. Comes off even keeled and more a centrist than anything else.
Juror 8 is a left-winger through and through and combines with Juror 5 to ensure the best possible outcome is a hung jury.
Gonna skip past 9-12. The short version of them combined is (Mixed bag to left-wing)
And interesting note here, I can immediately spot a few that I believe are lying and need to be looked into. And these do note a couple jurors already gotten rid of for trying to hide things. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the alternates were used by the end.

I don't think that the jury really matters since the prosecutor hasn't met the conditions to bring the charges he has. There is no reading of the law where the case shouldn't be immediately dismissed. If that doesn't matter, then nothing matters.
For reference, Trump is being charged with falsifying business records in order to conceal a crime, but there is no underlying crime he has or is being charged with. It's total bullshit, to an embarrassing degree.

I remember the "fiery but mostly peaceful" thing rubbing people's noses into the fact that the media is highly deceptive, and I think there were a few other things where people could compare the news pushing propaganda and social media livestreaming actual events and realize there was something horribly wrong.

The election is going to be so jiggered from every angle - both by organized leftist psychos and by stochastic-style crusaders (think random postal employees behaving like crusaders against orange man) - that there is no way it will be considered valid. I think that this election does not end this year, it will continue to be litigated into next year.
His marketing in 2016 was great for the time. He owned the idealistic moron market. A market that has, along with everyone else, now been driven mad by a decade of intensely destructive propaganda. If you stand back and look at it, what they've done to everyone on the planet just to nix Trump is one of history's greatest crimes. How many are certifiable now because of that? You'd be hard-pressed to find any families that aren't hit by that, some causing fatal rifts. How many cities will never recover from 2020's race riots? How much shit is permanently broken? The odiosity of our parasite overlords is unparalleled.
It annoys me the narrative they're painting there. He was just crazy. It wasn't like the Free Palestine human torch from earlier, who knew exactly what he was doing and thought it fine, the guy above was out of his mind. He was a one man doomsday cult.
