Personally I can't get enough of Phil being shit at fighting games, it's one of the things I keep coming back for. It's been years but I think that's how I first started "detracting".
The endless excuses, from opponents that mash to lag to netcode, "the game didn't give it to me", the man has perfected the art of making shit up on the spot to excuse himself from any wrongdoing. Paper thin skin. It's a truly ridiculous circus. I love it.

The part that really gets me is that he's pretty much devoted his life to them, and he still isn't good. I think that might be one of the reasons for the cope overload when he plays them. Most people who have put in the hours and years he has would be significantly better by now, but he just isn't, so it must be cheaters/frame traps/lag/the game devs.

Funny thing to add, is that DSP flip-flopped on the reason why he didn't read out the tip fully.

He probably was initially trying not to rub his biggest paypig the wrong way. Which is impossible for DSP, because he has zero self-control and always uses this demeaning tone when reading out or responding to a message he doesn't like, so you always instantly know when a message annoys him. Oh well, I guess that's the reward you get for dropping $6000+ a year on a narcissistic hermit.

And while we're on the subject of OneMinuteMan, some general observations which most likely don't mean anything at all, but which I'd like to mention anway: OneMinuteMan's support has been waining just ever so slightly.

• He didn't tip anything at all during the streams of March 25th and April 16th, which at the least is noteworthy, because he has been tipping literally every early stream or marathon stream for years now.
• He "only" tipped $10 during today's stream (April 20th), instead of the usual $20 or $25.
• The demeanor in his messages has become slightly baity and "critical" of DSP's actions/opinions.

Hard to say if this means trouble in paradise or if it's just the unpredictable way in which most of the weird fucks who support DSP tend to act. I'm leaning towards the latter, tbh.
