Even his newest video about "Why WRPGs suck compared to JRPGs" (Note how even the title has a negative spin. Cody can't even merely prefer JRPGs in a positive way. You'd think he'd hate video games even more than DSP does, and DSP's forced into ebegging in his game streams just to make a living), Cody goes on about his dislike of lesbians and tries to base his hatred of New Vegas (Mentioning a "lesbian being shoved in at the end of NV's DLC", most likely Christine Royce from Dead Money, who used to be in a relationship with fellow Brotherhood of Steel member and potential player companion Veronica) and Mass Effect (Trying to refer to the Asari, who are not only biologically all-female (or monogendered if you will), but also capable of reproducing with other species) two RPGs truly beloved primarily and characteristically for their lesbianisms, at teast in Cody's eyes. In the same video, he also interprets Skyrim's Nordic race and faction as being a deliberate "criticism of white culture" and generalizes WRPGS as being nothing more than leftist propaganda focused on political conflicts, failing to realize the irony in praising Final Fantasy 6 of all things, as the franchise around this point began to make political intrigue more present in the main story, as opposed to having exclusively megalomaniacal villains whose presence is felt more in their stat builds than their contribution to the narrative.

Of course, Harman talks about the World of Ruin to a token, but noteworthy degree, which in addition to the final Kefka battle indicates his inability to care about anything beyond the most surface level of presentations and specatcles, and the atom-sized depths of his attention span, which he would also demonstrate as he discusses Shin Megami Tensei 5 and how much of an ordeal learning to play the game was for him, though he would use it as yet another unwieldy cudgel against the subject of his loathing, the western role playing game. Mind you, while SMT is known for its challenge, it as a franchise that functions almost entirely in turn based battles (Raidou Kuzunoha being one of the few exceptions), can be easily boiled down to a slightly larger gameplay flowchart compared to its contemporaries, the mainline games focusing more on dungeon crawling and resource/stat management while the other JRPG contemporaries sell themselves thanks to visual and audio presentation and foreground narratives. This means that with his sausage fingers clapping together, Cody Lee barks like a seal to only the finest of Nintendo-available JRPG cutscenes, which stand second only to boss fights scripted out to draw out the strongest emotional responses from the audience. This is just the type of thing that manages to penetrate the pockets of carbon dioxide and lard in his body and reach his brain cells, not the adeventures of some no-name mailman who has only one bullet-silzed hole in his brain, in contrast to Cody's dozen. Obviously, New Vegas was purchased and played by countless anti-Nintendo conspirators for the sole reason of it having a post-apocalyptic lesbian somewhere in its game files. Likewise, despite being criticized by left leaning ideologues as being a Fascist authoritarian/Fedposting fantasy (AKA Commander Shephard), Mass Effect's stain on the dirt-upon-dirt board of WRPG history is that it has blue alien women who sometimes like to rub tacos and slam clams.

For what it's worth, Cody could avoid being accused of being a closet homosexual on the grounds of projection because as it turns out, he's rarely expressed any of his loathings or his hourly two-minutes' hates towards the LGBT community upon the GB in LGBT, just the L and T. Even between lesbos and troons, the latter only receive Cody's ire only a tenth as often and strongly as he directs it towards lesbians. Personally speaking, I do believe that leftist politics and by extension LGBT poltiics tend to be rather gynocentric, so it wouldn't be too surprising that self-identifying women of alternate sexualities would behave as though they were the protagonists of our universe, it begs the question of why our equally self-identifying "free thinker" Cody "Harman Smith" Lee is so interested in expressing his refusal to believe that lesbians can actually exist Perhaps the possibility of a woman being more interested in another woman instead of him is just too alien for him to understand. After all, there aren't really any lesbians in Zelda. There are no lesbians in Mario. Samus hasn't been shown munching carpet. Nintendo's yet to betray Cody by presenting ladies kissing other ladies to the audience in their first party third party games. Unlike most normal and sane guys who like eye candy, Cody can't get Shiggy with babes being horny for each other in video games.

One more thing I should note about Cody's opposition to lesbians: While depictions in fiction do not equal endorsement nor are inherently the author's own personal beliefs, it can be argued that with sufficiently autistic or ideologically-bent people, that their creations of pure entertainment may also be an open window into what they really think and feel. Enter the Codyverse, where everything is an even less-researched and constructed version of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World, with what little substance being shallowly compensated for with mainstream beginner weeaboo inspirations such as Evangelion, Berserk, Spy X Family (Which Cody loves for reasons that probably amount to Yor Forger waifufaggotry), and One Punch Man. Set in Somewhere, America, Cruel and Beautiful stars high school student Mike, who can be summed up as most likely a self-aware but also self-disdainful self-insert of Cody Inman, who is immediately attracted to the female lead, Amaris Yew, an aloof vampire girl who is several centuries old, though we're informed sooner of her "great ass", multilingualism, and descriptions of her long, black hair that'd have you think that most girls around Cody wear a hijab while stuck in his presence, than anything about her actual history or narrative purpose.

Skipping to the point, within the Codyverse there exists at least one instance of a lesbian suffering an unfortunate fate, as dictated by Harman Smith. One girl, who only shortly before meeting her end is identified as Isabelle, is targeted as a feeding victim by Amaris. Isabelle is immediately seduced by Amaris, but a humanoid shark monster by the name of Bruce (I am not kidding) even more quickly scoops up Isabelle, leaps into the next room, and rips her body apart and eats her, stating that he was summoned by an extremely stereotypical African witch doctor to killsteal and deprive Amaris of any energy-providing victims. Poor Isabelle, who served no purpose other than to be a lesbian and to die. This could be more of an extension of Harman's misogyny instead, as Cody's no stranger to having women be sexually assaulted in his writings. Again, I'do not believe that what happens in fiction is a true extension of somoene's own beliefs. In Jaw of the Dragon, Jack Kiryu (Yes, named after Kazuma Kiryu, who Cody manages to like despite his own game series not being available on any Nintendo platforms on the grounds of being a "massive chad") sees his girlfriend breaking up with him due to being a low-income lazy slob. Jack's girlfriend is then immediately raped in an alley by an incubus and is covered from head to toe in semen. Another female character, a maid who dresses like she belonged in an anime, is violated by another incubus and accidentally stripped naked by Jack as he tries to fight the demon. Jack is also revealed to be Nero from Devil May Cry part dragon, but the most important thing here is that unless you're what Cody to my memory has described as being an impossibly cool badass, such as Jack's mentor, Bayonetta With an Italian Accent, you're gonna have a bad time as a female in the Codyverse. He does not see women as actual people or even potential members of his audience, of his novels nor his Nintendo-worshipping commentary. If you have a vagina, you are candy to him, especially if you're European.

Always one to be vastly more interested in the failures of others rather than the successes of the few he loves, Cody is currently fully erect about the controversy surrounding Sony trying to maximize their PSN metrics with Helldivers 2, which he calls the "Baldur's Gate 3 of 2024", which only in the context of his commentary does that sound like a bad thing, as BG3 is both highly successful and uniquely the game with the most GOTY awards. Obviously to only people possessing an amazing IQ of Super Mario 128, Helldivers' competitive rival is Splatoon (Or SpLAT-Tewn as he pronounces it), because zealous interstellar soldiers high on patriotic propaganda and Pavlovian word triggers such as "Democracy" and "Liberty" shooting RAID-brand guns at giant insects has enough in common with squid kids painting surfaces with squirt guns and rollers across some post-apocalyptic, Spongebob-punk Earth. Both have players interested in fashion, but his confidence in the game being bad is solely thanks to the mere existence of Splatoon 3. He also likens the Nintendo fanboy and Playstation user lifestyles (Yes, lifestyles)to Heinlein's comments on citizenry and civilianhood, immediately proving that his understanding and respect of Heinlein is shallow at best by perceiving the two statuses as being a matter of superiority (Other than suffrage, the two aren't really different in income, legality, or equality) Strangely enough, he offers some decent, but common wisdom about the inconveniences of having to make and link multiple third party accounts just to access a video game. He also mentions Devil May Cry in a positive light, albeit to compare it to God of War (In a video about Helldivers, mind you), forgetting to verbally note that Bayonetta is superior. Perhaps his brain cells dedicated to Nintendo worship have fried themselves. Perhaps Cody "Harman Smith" Lee Inman is a grifter who forgot to keep up the act. Perhaps his FOMO of non-Nintendo titles was too strong that day, as his hatred of Helldivers seems to mostly stem from his inability to find a close enough Nintendo equivalent. Regardless, Cody even manages to speculate that Sony's fuckery is so they can increase their preferred metrics, though he forgets his usual points of "Nobody plays X, it's a dead game.".

Not much else to say other than that it's becoming more obvious that Cody is trying to retaliate against everyone for his unfulfilled childhod, deseprately wishing and dreaming of a world where he would get laid and land a successful novelist career thanks to liking Zelda, Mario, and Fire Emblem enough.

Cody's fans are a funny collective case in that all of them combined have received far less attention from Cody than his detractors have. They're circlejerking on a discord server but it's parasocial as hell. Nobody ever directly has a conversation with one another. Look at that, one moment Cody is arguing that more powerful hardware is unnecessary and irrelevant, that all game developers should only put their games on the Switch because it is all everyone needs. Now that a Switch successor is announced, he gets all wet and bothered because the hardware will be more powerful, What a duplicitous sped.

Spoiler: My two cents

Temper expectations, knowing Nintendo's philosophy regarding hardware, they'll deliver the bare minimum to keep the hardware cheap to produce and profitable from day one of sales. It is going to be woefully underpowered compared to everything else available on the market at the date of release. That said none of it will matter, it will be backwards compatible with Switch and will play those games at higher framerates and resolution, that alone will make the Switch 2 fly off the shelves.
