The stereotype of western progressives acting as though anything anti-west is their ideological ally is a reliable source of schadenfreude.

The Canadians like to pretend that they wouldn’t be lumped in with the Americans, and all the presumably contrary American factions manufactured out of thin air for the sake of generating sellable ad data seem to believe that the frame on their Facebook profile photo is sufficient to safely distinguish them from all those enemy countrymen whose destruction they root for.

Though they don’t always meet the agonizing end they’ve earned, you can always count on this common variety of louse to provide long-term entertainment; because having no life goals aside from “be important, morally correct person on the Internet” is guaranteed to make each day a disappointment they cope with publicly.

ResetEra is discussing the changes to the Pokemon Go avatars, as reported by Kotaku:


Long story short: Niantic "updgraded" the character creator in Pokemon Go so that avatars can "look more like you", and now the avatars are universally more ugly and misshapen. Null talked about it in Mad at the Internet today, and I believe we have a thread about it somewhere.

Everybody hates the avatar changes, and that includes Kotaku and ResetEra:

This is a sample, but there are pages and pages of complaints and no praises. I kept wishing I had a burner account to go in there and use their line... "What? Upset that you can't jack off to your Pokemon character?"

But it's almost a guarantee this change stems from a desire to remove gender options, make clothing unisex, and appease some sort of DEI consultation firm. You no longer select a gender, just a body type. Rather than fun, cartoonish bodies, you can now choose a range from frumpy to obese. Men must go in and remove "manboobs" from their character, and the women are hardly allowed boobs at all. And ALL of the characters' faces have be mercilessly bludgeoned by the ugly stick.

A few of them acknowledge what an awful change this is but are still preparing for what the "chuds" will blame it on:

But let's not fool ourselves, people. Even the image Niantic used to promote the new character creator looks like an ad for hormone blockers:

The Israel/Gaza thread on there is really interesting. It completely exposes how hypocritical those retards are.

They complain about fake news and people who get their info from FoxNews, meanwhile they're taking tweets from propaganda accounts on Twitter as fact before anything gets verified and keep spamming AlJazeera links, who in Arabic (they hide it a bit in English) are extremely "right wing" if you were to think of it like a US outlet.

But yes, sure, all of those cute young Palestinian girls are totally real and just so happen to be expert reporters on the ground in Gaza. They're also usually full of likes calling for the end of the Jews.
