Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

I need a series that's just a parody of youtubers reacting to analog horror where the youtuber is one of the dime-a-dozen fake people monsters trying to convince the audience that they're human. Like he starts off basic, looking at and analysing the popular ones like normal, then slowly starts putting videos that don't actually exist in there that's just footage of his buddies ("It's real obscure guys, I guess other tubers just don't have my connections"), starts making small comments where he says odd things or goes "Nah, we wouldn't kill the guy that way." until it turns into a cryptid version of those 'Former Gangster reacts to gangster related media' videos.
Honestly, not a bad pitch for ARG/Analog series
Oh, 1999. This story was the center of a plagiarism drama some time ago. Simply put, someone reposted the story in the Creepypasta Wiki with more segments, some of which were copied directly from Alantutorial. The author claimed it wasn’t him, but there are some doubts. For a better breakdown, I suggest watching Fish Stick on a Stick's 1999 review, it was a pretty good video, and certainly not as long as this one.
Man, it's been a while since I last seen Fish Stick on a Stick. I'm glad he's doing well so far

See that WOULD be kino, but so many Youtubers these days already look like they're pretending to be human, no one would notice the difference until super late.

Spoiler: tuv
The damage that tuv has done to the horror YouTube sphere cannot be understated. He has turned every single informative video into some faggot reading off of Wikipedia. All of his research is just scratching the surface of a topic and then leaving it at that, and that has inspired hundreds of others to do the exact same fucking thing. Especially his buddies like morbidisfun, the guy who talks in run on sentences and has a autistic lisp which makes it even harder to understand what he is saying, and when you finally do grasp it, he’s on to the next topic. It’s mind numbingly lazy.

Mhm, exactly. It's the lowest common denominator. Nothing stands out. It's all the same and it's gassed on. I hate it so much, man. Tuv had potential to stand out but he just became like any other youtuber shilling the same things and relying on the same tropes, same censorships, same lame sponsorships, all of it.

Checked out morbidisfun's channel, too. GOD, of course, it's no different from how Tuv's thumbnails are. OF COURSE, his videos are rehashed jank that's already been told a gorillion times. OF COURSE, the topics he talk about are nothing original and has been repeatedly said a thousand times from other youtubers. OF COURSE, OF COURSE, OF COURSE.

I can't find it, but I remember someone here bringing up that horror/true crime youtube needs a complete restart, and I agree. These kind of youtubers need to be culled and controlled better but it's no use anymore. We're already too far gone and it's more hip and trendy to talk about overdone topics than ones that hardly anyone, both foreigners and westerns, know about.

Talk about foreign disasters (that hasn't been talked to death), talk about murder cases or tragedies that barely reached out to western audiences, give us a good winded lore about this foreign serial killer or bomber and the unforgivable acts they did that somehow did not get enough attention in and outside its affected area. Come on, show us that oopy-spoopy TOR website of some random Polish guy having a 200 page schizo meltdown about the government and how he's building radioactive nukes to cull everyone because God told him to.

Again, so many ideas to use, to talk about. But no, they go with what's trendy and popular. What makes them the big bucks faster, and I hate that.

Most of Disturbed Reality's posts nowadays are just "latest graphic killing that happened in a cartel" but they're a lot more insightful and still have some merit of variety to it than anything I've seen Tuv/morbidisfun could think of. But I ain't complaining. He's probably the only youtuber I know actively talking about Mexico's cartels and the crimes they post/get away with online.

Man has more balls risking demonetization than most youtubers who cant even bother to utter suicide without reversing it or saying ESS-AY or "[G]rape without the G". Yeah, he says ESS-AY, too, but I'll give him a dang pass because the stuff he talks about is leagues more at risk with demonetization than other youtubers.

Totally blanking on the channel but i remember one mentioned here talking about magdalena solis' crimes as a 'preistess' of her cult, reincarnated goddess asking village folk to kill and eat each other.

New Dire Trip video about a gay dude spiraling out and attacking his former lover
all because of his obsession with circumcision and resenting his parents for
having it done to him as a baby.

Honestly, he should had teamed up with someone
who had similar passions regarding this topic

Fantastic Daily did something like that doing top 10 with fake entries until they started messing with some autistic guy on their streams that really believed one entry about a japanese giant was real, and this dude doxed them and the guy behind the channel deleted everything and to this day proclaims he didnt kick a bee nest on his streams.

There's a lot of bizarre cults, incidents, and people from Southeast Asia, Central and Eastern Europe that are yet to be uncovered or discussed by anglo speaking channels.
Really! But all that they talk about in regards to Asian cults Aum Shinrikyo and Shoko Asahara, a topic that has been talked about to death.
But how will you know that they're on the right side of history if Spooky McBumfuck doesn't virtue signal Current Thing™?
Naturally! Haven't you heard, we're living in the Rise of Fascism! Gotta make sure we're not signal boosting a Trump supporter!!

Or heaven forbid, a racist. That's why it was important to know that the shitty analog horror creepy pasta thing about that ugly ass dog in plaid shirts supports Palestine.

Rotten Mango has started covering cases that need translators that I've not heard of in my decade plus of true crime content. She used to do mukbangs but rebranded and now its just her telling the story for an hour in extreme uncensored detail including gory medical descriptions. She recently covered a Chinese cat killer and does a lot of Korean crime cases too. It's not for everyone but I think if someone is willing to sit through tuv, Rotten Mango is worth a watch. If it is censored, it's entirely bleeped out and not given cutesy references. I think that respects the viewer and the story so I can extend my respect that they're trying to be compensated for their work on YT.

I agree her stuff on some of the obscure (for anglo audiences) cases are really quite interesting as she really covers other stuff than most other true crime channels, even in cases where she covers western stuff it is not always the well known cases. Also with regard to the censoring, she specifically states that stuff is censored for youtube but uncensored (and at times longer) versions are available in the podcast version.
The only thing is that in certain aspects she really is pandering to the woke audience a bit too much and I really don't think for many of these pandering things she and her partner really agree with it, which makes it come of as even more cringy. For example there is a video about a girl who admitted on tv she had sex for money she was discussing that she would refer to her as a prostitute as that is what the media referred to her as but that prostitute is "a really bad word, guys, and sex work is so stigmatized".
However, that is generally kept relatively short, although I didn't listen to her discussing the killing of the troon in the UK, as I don't know how a full episode about that would be bearable.

I've just listened to this & the first story is about a dad who's eating & basically feeding his family 'exotic meat' without telling them. Kangaroo, rat, bushmeat and whatnot. Kinda icky, I have to admit.

But the last sentence about "how long will it take for that road to lead him down to cannibalism" & the speculation of him possibly already eating human meat / feeding it to his family as well really rubbed me the wrong way. Yeah, someone's eating monkeys and crocodiles, they'll eat their own family next. That's probably why OP stopped posting. Jesus Christ, man...

What is this shit and why is it here
It's here because it's a YT horror series from a well known creator, calm the fuck down, just because you don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't belong in this thread.
I am tired of seeing analog "horror" not using the VHS effects. I bet it would be cooler to record the output of an actual VHS player.
And to be honest, I am tired of seeing analog "horror"/VHS aesthetic in general.
The issue with that approach is that you need to source a working VCR, blank VHS tapes, additional equipment like capture cards, know how to utilize all of it and the process of conversion is long. Zoom zooms have no idea how to use a VHS tape if they ever were to hold one, and they want results NOW.

Having to record 10 minutes of footage and then re-record it via a capture card, possibly over and over to degrade it more, is unthinkable to them. They live in a world where you cut up a video in Premiere Pro, you just slap on a VHS filter on all of it in an instant, and rendering takes seconds compared to the length of the video. Having to spend an hour fiddling with old tech just to have an authentic VHS effect? That's insanity! It has to be NOW NOW NOW NOW or else they don't care. Low effort and high praise, that's how it goes with them.

New Nick Crowley & Lazy Masquerade - I haven't watched either of these yet & I doubt I'm missing out on much. (:_(
Crowley video is pretty solid. I'd only already heard one of the cases (the woman who drowned in her car) and it sounds like he's speeding up his vocals a little bit so they aren't so drawly and retarded. It's worth a watch.

Does anyone hate when internet horror creators break character?
e.g walten files, chezzkidsarchive?
It's very annoying and it takes me out of the experience every single time, just shows me the analogue horror series they're making is for clout rather than actually wanting to tell a spooky story. Like come on man, this is not stuff that would be talked about in an ugly 90's edutainment website

And this is not something to be talking about when you're only known for a FNAF rip off (sadly I was not able to find an archived version with the first tweet)
