A website called Disboard, (https://disboard.org/) where hundreds of thousands of discord servers are all congregated into one website. From politics to dating it's all neatly organized with a tag system.

Disboard works like this: you add a bot to your server and your server is placed on the disboard website where people go to find new servers. The site has zero moderation outside of discord's own, this severe lack of moderation has led to groomers that would otherwise be relatively isolated on the internet being able to easily build platforms full of minors on their servers.

He's a game dev/cyber security industry guy. I wouldn't say hes artificially propped up by using view bots or something, but he said that he capitalized on the small game dev/programming tag on twitch. He said that he deliberately chose empty timeslots so that he'd be more likely to be pushed to the front page. He's blown up on YT because of his shorts. Some of anecdotes are interesting, and you can't forge a defcon black badge. However, I hate how arrogant he sounds. He markets himself as an authority on game development/cybersec with a booming deep voice, something easily captured in a YouTube short, while also being confidently incorrect about shit.

I just don't like Thor ever since his take that it's a fundamentally good idea to make as many games as you can as quickly as you can and push them all out to market. I think that just saturates the market further with poor quality products and if you push something out the door that you know full well is poor quality because you only spent a month working on it part-time then you probably deserve to get banned off most publishing platforms for wasting bandwidth, server space and people's time.
