Nice find. It’s Dave jamming for an hour to show us how he writes a vaguely jazzy song (without lyrics yet :sadwaifu: ), fussing with guitars, explaining how he uses a cheap looper for this but not in the studio for something he will release etc. Creepy fap face starts at 43 minutes along with the endless guitar solo.

No Mandated Reporter is obliged to report a crotchety old man yelling at his deadbeat 40-year-old son, especially if the old man has a restraining order against him after he stalked him, harassed him, and tried to extort tens of thousands of dollars from him, all of which was done in public

What aggravates me about this is not Dave's usual shenanigans, it's the braindead yes-troons in his replies. Dave is a lost cause, but how can anyone read what Dave is writing and conclude anything other than he is a lunatic? Tribal loyalties at their best, Dave could stab Dr Joe to death with a screwdriver and they'd be all "Well done Danielle, he deserved that, Justice!"

They did that for Hamas. Victims are always morally in the right according to the rules of SocJus, and since Dave claims to be a troon, up to the top of the victimhood ladder he goes.

It’s pretty clear that there’s missing context. Possibly Dr Joe SCREAMED so loudly that the first part of that conversation, in which Fatso called his sister-in-law weird and creepy, got blown away. Guilt-tripping people to get what you want is abusive behaviour.

I think she was referring to the comments under his first post when she said: "Sorry. I guess I'm too weird and creepy to understand." He was positively engaging with the replies saying she's weird/creepy for watching his Facebook stories. That said, his screenshot of their convo does seem to be missing some previous messages.

He can scream all he wants about her being a mandated reporter, but mandated reporting only covers minors and vulnerable adults. Minors is pretty self-explanatory and vulnerable adults would be adults with mental (eg. Downs Syndrome) or physical (eg. severe cerebral palsy) issues that make it very difficult to care for themselves. The elderly may also fall under vulnerable adults due to mental or physical decline. A minor or a vulnerable adult would have a very hard time stopping, reporting, or removing themselves from abuse. They may not even have the mental or cognitive ability to recognize they’re being mistreated.

While Dave loves to act like a massive helpless baby and would probably claim his back pain and mental health issues qualify him as a vulnerable adult, easily observable things like him being able to continuously blather on Facebook about the alleged abuse and even going so far as to stalk his alleged abuser by showing up at their medical appointments (playing his stupid guitar no less!) makes it pretty clear he doesn’t qualify as a vulnerable adult. So even if the alleged abuse was totally true and honestly real, his ex sister-in-law is still not mandated to report it.

We all know he’s endlessly stupid and ignorant of anything that doesn’t align with what he wants to believe so he may be confusing mandated reporting with being subpoenaed to testify in a court case.

Mandated reporters are required to report abuse they suspect, but that doesn't mean they have to report every rando with a sob story they encounter in their lives. Even if he falls into some category she'd have to report, if she doesn't think he's been abused, she doesn't have to do shit. Especially since he's a narcissist scumbag who demands she interact with him when she clearly doesn't want to, and who is obviously trying to use her to get back at his totally evil abusive racist NO IT IS YOU WHO ARE THE NARCISSISTS family. He's a real piece of shit to put her name out there and threaten to report her to her superiors over it.

I know that in California mandated reporters, if they were to volunteer for a suicide hotline, would be required to report anyone saying they're going to kill themselves. I know this because Trans Lifeline specifically forbid California mandatory reporters from volunteering.

Like just about everything in Burgerland, it depends on the state and how they wrote their laws on it.

Same. Dave wouldn't be eligible for mandated reporting, being as how:
1. He's not a vulnerable adult.
2. He could just fucking leave.
3. He keeps going back to his parents, despite the fact that Dr Joe might SCREAM at him, because he wants gibs.
