Phil's netcode rant about the cannon brothers, Phil implied they spoke to him about selling the netcode to Capcom but I thought they just let them use/gave it to them for free, am I wrong ?
I noticed he's wearing the button up shirt open with a shirt underneath that's a very fat guy thing to do, must of seen us shitting on his big fat man titties.
Forgot to add he's talking about roms for the emulator and saying that it wasn't illegal to download them back in the day....how is he so fucking retarded unless you own the game and are using a backup you are pirating it, which I don't give a fuck about.
I'm lost at this point I can't tell when he is hamming it up or just being legitimately retarded
No, you're not wrong. The Cannon's gave it to Capcom for free, without a incentive of any monetary gain for the Cannon's. Also, they did it as a labor of love to not just the Street Fighter community, but also the FGC as a whole. It was mentioned by Jaha that the Cannon brothers "don't need the money", as before rollback netcode, both are intelligent and successful in their own careers outside of the FGC. However, it was also noted that the Cannon brothers hold feelings of dislike for Phil and vice versa. Also, Phil will claim that there is a IRC PM of the Cannon brothers where they told him that they sold rollback netcode to Capcom, which he got called out by the FGC for being "full of shit." Sure! Someone that openly dislikes you, PM you and told you "the truth", also, Phil was openly slamming rollback netcode back in the day and the whole entire FGC basically told Phil to "shut the fuck up!"
Oh, don't get me started on that statement he had about how he shops at "second hand stores to save money", and if you spend money on new clothes, you're basically a moron. Sure, Phil.
Again, LegalSydePhil comes out into full swing. The legality is this concerning roms: if you OWN the physical copy of that ROM, it's considered a digital backup of that game. However, you have to legally own a physical copy of it. It's a technical gray area that companies like Nintendo has been fighting for YEARS to get ROM's illegal, even if you own the physical copy.
Phil doesn't "ham" anything up, he's honestly that stupid. Years of no social contact, drinking gin, and pulling Hogans will do that.
