The Judge likely waited so that there's no chance of appeal; the appeals court will simply say he waited too long.
I am resisting the urge to send The Judge a gift basket of fruit, to include a disproportionate amount of kiwis.

It’s a good thing that the 10th already said that this shit won’t work
Since when has anything like this prevented Greer from filing utter garbage?

Rule 60 relief from judgement/order motion tolls the timer for appeal. He still has time. See United States v. Zook, No. 22-1060 (10th Cir. Dec. 6, 2022) (“Likewise, to toll the appeal period, a Rule 60 motion must be filed no later than 28 days after the judgment is entered.”). He filed his Rule 60 motion less than a day after the venue transfer order.

He also filed a Rule 59 motion which similarly tolls the timer. See Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure (A) (4) (A) (iv)

Under Greer's Theory Of Sequential Filings, he couldn't file the appeal until the court ruled on his last filing, the Motion To Undo What You Just Done. I'm sure we'll see an appeal filed now, whether the court thinks it's possible or not.

while i eagerly await greer’s next journal entry of an unhinged filing, an appeal in utah doesn’t stop or stay the litigation in florida. it would be a much better use of however else he wastes his time to respond to Hardin’s florida filing.

This is the best:

"Nice citation, Mr Greer. Oh, what's that, it's just a 'preference'? Too bad it's not a rule. I had the opportunity to fuck you in the ass, so I did. Enjoy Florida, retard."

Between granting the venue change with Josh not even claiming that Florida would be more convenient and then divesting jurisdiction by sending the case file the next day, after Greer filed his motion for reconsideration, it's hard to overstate how hard Magistrate Bennett fucked Russ.

Greer filing motions in Utah after the case was transferred shouldn't have stayed the litigation in Florida but the latter decided otherwise, so who knows what they'll do?

"Now before the court is some stupid crap. The court notes that rules are rules, courts follow their own rules, and you're retarded. Therefore we decree this is Florida Man's problem, and GTFO."

You snooze, you lose.

Since I'll never have the opportunity to mention it again, I find it funny the Utah Judge's name is Jared C. Bennett, a shitty name for someone in Utah as John C. Bennett was a high ranking early Mormon who infamously operated a whore house in Nauvoo (I imagine he was Russ's hero growing up Mormon). He was ironically excommunicated for practicing polygamy, only for Joseph Smith himself to later get caught cheating on his wife, at which point he declared it OK. John C. Bennett ever after turned against Joseph Smith and the Mormon church, making him one of many Judases of early Mormonism

If you knew what places clerks tended to congregate on the internet and you could put your message there you would be able to do even more. Even reaching somebody who has a connection to a clerk might be useful.
that would simply provide the twitterati with the opportunity to shit on the farms in the comments of the post.

This pretty much slams the door on that and closes the docket. Utah just issued a "Writ of No Backsies!" Greer can send whatever he wants to Utah, but the big games in Florida now.
I have little doubt that he will keep trying to tie things up like this.
Ten bucks says russes next filing in this case will be in Utah.
i'm amazed that the magistrate didn't specifically state that the utah court would not accept any further filings. obviously, he shouldn't have needed to, but it's also obvious that he should have because ... plaintiff russell greer (x2).

also, lol at mr. hardin's certificate of service to every one of greer's documented addresses.

The register did state that all future documents should be filed in Florida, we'll see if Russell tries to test the boundaries of that.
That's word for word the same thing the initial transfer order already said, and Russell didn't give a fuck about it that time. I honestly think it's more likely than not he will try to continue filing shit in Utah. Maybe the clerk will refuse to docket it, but he'll try nonetheless.

Russ should definitely continue filing insane bullshit in Utah.
