She’s catching Woody in photos the way she does Luna. He has gas and “smiles” and she calls him joyful, just like when Luna seizes she says She’s playing.
The scary thing is she believes it all. Hope Woody is healthy as he appears and is not another Luna.
So when Robyn is done pumping out kids, (I agree that given the chance she’ll try for a girl) what are the odds on her becoming a doula herself? I think she’s obsessed with childbirth enough, but I also don’t think she cares much about leaving her little domain, aka, she’s lazy.
You picked up on something I was going to mention before you beat me to it.
Robyn is likely sitting there for minutes at a time, waiting for WoodElf to "smile" when in reality, babies this young do not reactively smile in reaponce to stimuli. Any smiles caught on camera are nervous system reflexes in responce to non related stimulus like, as you said, gas
Not saying this is what is happening here, but i believe there is an episode of greys anatomy where a doctor realizes that a baby is actually having constant seizures because it is seemingly laughing and smiling more often then it should at it's age.
And again, not saying that is what is happening here, but I can 100% see Robyn being to dumb to realize thatva constantly "happy" baby maybe actually mean something may be wrong.
I think WoodElf is a pretty cute baby so far. He, without a doubt, definitely takes after his Mexican heritage and I can't help but wonder if that is also upseting Robyn since it takes away from her ideal anglo baby girl mini me/Luna replacement.
The only thing I would point out is, his eyes do still look a bit on the puffy side. Most babies have swollen eyes from being forced through the birth canal, but it typically goes away within the first 72 hours. Im starting to wonder if he maybe picked up a slight case of conjunctivitis from Robyn's death snatch secretions. There is a reason why that eye ointment is typically part of "standard" medicine in hospital births.
