I never thought Pippa would be one of the one's to do it, but she's having a....well not a meltdown rant, but feels like she's burnt out or something. Something's getting to her.

She does this every 6 months or so. She's gotten better at not turning into a weeping mess which is actual growth on her part. What I think is getting to her is what's always gotten to her, the belief that she has a shelf life and she really doesn't have a plan beyond streaming. It's a reasonable fear to have but I wish she had a little more faith in us and herself. Hell man, 3 years ago she was the least subbed member of EN. One hog wrestle later and she has grown to where she is now. Metokur can promote him all he wants but it won't matter if she doesn't put in the work which she has in spades.

I've felt depressed after my visits to Japan, more than any other place I visited so I can see this hitting her harder than the usual Pippa Spiral. You go from a nice place that is busy but not at all hectic like NYC, is incredibly safe, is versatile in transportation, and see people having a work ethic even for menial tasks and there isn't a shitty culture of crapping on these people, and then you return back to the states and everything is inverted again. Even going to Europe is more like travelling within the US with how they've let everything turn to shit.

You go from sitting in an airport lounge that's nice and clean and quiet and regularly clean and update the food (ANA hires a lot of people with physical disabilities to work their lounges at Narita) to see a fat black woman looking at her phone instead of dealing with the line of people trying to pay for parking, if your car wasn't broken into or had its wheels stolen.

To some extent this is true… obviously the shelf life depends drastically on the talent and how much effort they put in/how unique they are compared to their peers. Also if Pippa is cognizant of this, sounds like she should invest time and effort in making connections in different sectors of the industry (merch creators, event organizers, talent managers, etc..) so she has a potential branch to swing to a new career that keeps her in the industry she likes after her streaming days are over.

But that also requires her to be proactive socially so maybe that isn’t as easy as we would think :story:

You're a faggot and the country you are Idolizing would likely drive you to kill yourself if you lived there. Japans a fine place to visit but don't be a delusional weeb.

For me it was how much better and more fun arcades are in Japan than here in Australia. 90% of the stuff in Australian "arcades" is just shitty carnival games that you win tickets from. At best you'll get Daytona USA, Mario Kart Arcade GP, and maybe DDR/ITG.
Biggest exception to this rule though is Bartronica, which is a pub in inner city Melbourne that has a bunch of old arcade games, though the selection of games does change.
