I think there's an bit of an correlation between having an low IQ and the emoji spam. At least the autists get an excuse because they "can't understand emotions through text" or something; but there's also the curryniggers mindlessly spamming "jai hind" with the relevant flags.

The fact that the dogs at the top look relatively normal, and then get worse and worse as you go down is truly horrifying. You can watch the gradual process of being SMASHED and SLAMMED over several generations.

Funny thing is Crispr doesn't work perfectly since genes can rewrite themselves, undoing the work that the editing system does. But it's not like they'd care about the animal lives and that this likely won't work the way they claim it will.

Science has been creating transgenic animals since at least the 1990s. A lot of this work has been lab oriented, one of the main applications is creating chimeric 'humanized' mice and lab animals that can be infected by pathogens that typically only infect humans for the purpose of studying diseases and treatments.

Another famous example is the fluorescent cats/pigs/dogs, because as adamska said this is a very imprecise process it's hard for scientists too tell if the gene 'took' so they started inserting a gene from a jellyfish that's linked to the creation of a green fluorescent protein as well, so if their modifications were likely successful, the animal would glow under UV light.

One of the few commercial pet trade spillovers of this is the Glofish, several species of freshwater fish that have been genetically modified with genes from marine jellyfish and corals to give them vibrant coloration.

These are very controversial in the fish hobby mostly because the genes are patented so these are illegal to breed and resell on your own unlike any other fish. Which is stupid because you can put decades into line breeding fish for extreme color or characteristics yet that fish is unpatentable. But if you skip most of that and play mad scientist you're allowed to patent it. The other worry is these getting back into the wild and polluting wild genepools with transgenic traits but more recent studies have shown that is very unlikely as glofish are both far more vulnerable to predation and like danger haired humans are disfavored as mates by wild type fish in all species studied.

I worry about that giving them extra muscle buildup around the heart. Mutations like that can have some bad consequences.

Bully Whippets are actually a 'naturally' (as natural as non-retarded selective dog breeding is) occurring mutation that has been around for some time and it doesn't seem to cause cardiac issues beyond what sighthounds typically have and their lifespan generally isn't impacted. It does cause some other relatively minor health issues like overbite and muscle cramps but pretty much nobody is out there selectively breeding for it. Many even cull puppies with the extreme variant of the condition. The less extreme variants are the fastest whippets though so there's incentive to kind of go up to that line.

Once you start SLAMMING it into other dogs though all bets are off.

Adding the UV glow gene to bacteria has been around for so long, it is now a safe and fun middle school level science experiment you can do with your kids. Great for science fairs!

In every video this guy posted, he had to hold the dogs heads up and would cut the camera without letting go, but I found a couple where he did take his hand out from under their chins and their necks and heads all droop like fucking crazy. They don't seem to be able to physically hold their heads up by themselves.

Although nowhere near as physically bad as the exotic bullies, this one is just... concerning. Take a dog-aggressive breed, mix it with a highly protective breed, and then mix to another protective one? That's a dog that will not only bite someone, but that will rip an arm off. They'll at least have an okay time breathing, the lack of pictures of the adult dogs is just strange and makes me wonder how monsterous these things are in person.

This takes me back to the time I saw a Caucasian Shepherd/Ovrcharka x Husky mix, pictured first below. Admittedly a beautiful dog, but a mix of something that is both dangerous and able of holding back bears with a high-energy and high-prey drive animal is truly unfortunate. Which lead me down the horrifying rabbithole of finding out that there is a handful of (thankfully few) breeders who will intentionally create such unions, such as the Tibetan x Caucasian, Rottweiler x Caucasian, and Staffordshire Terrier x Caucasian pictured next.

I'd like to assume a few of these are more the result of irresponsible ownership than just profit, but I know for a fact the middle two were intentional. Maybe one day, a dog-breeding antichrist will make a union of all these creatures simply to make us weep at the folly of man.

Disturbingly, this kinda breeding for bad traits exists in horses, too.

These horse have double muscling. This also leads to them having seizures a LOT. They're useless animals referred to as "halter bred". Can't ride it, or work with it. They're marked as HYPP N/H for this trait, it's legit something bred into the line.

The opposite of those horrible looking arabians. It's like a goat.
I could compile a bunch of hell horses, if anyone wants.

Fuck that last horse looks so tired of being alive. If these horses are so useless then why are they popular to breed? Unlike dogs, I thought that horses are usually expected to be able to do something. Even if it's just being ridden by some rich asshole.

I think a dive into the world of SMASHED AND SLAMMED horses (and other fucked up horse breeds) would be a great addition to the thread if you took the time to write one up.
