I remember learning that those chemical changes happen on the DNA level to prevent the mother’s immune system from destroying the male fetus because the male fetus is seen as a foreign body. The professor who I learned this from was molecular biologist and explained she is now technically a chimera since she had a son. So for males to even be born the female body has to adept the male fetus DNA into her own DNA so her immune system doesn’t kill the fetus.

I could be wrong here but I do find it interesting that a had a professor tell my class she’s a chimera in the scientific sense.

Society sees men’s behavior as the responsibility of women, and they see children’s behavior as a reflection of the quality of their mothers, so there’s going to be a slice of people who will conclude that it was his mom’s fault for divorcing his dad (or not) or for having a job (or not) etc. and also his murdered wife’s fault, if she had just put out more and happily complied with whatever demands he had he wouldn’t have had to kill her for realdoll money.
