Haven't been on xitter for years, but I came to like BAP because he'd actually interact with small accounts and sometimes retweet new accounts of people who'd been banned. I really can't understate how important this is for building a following when you've got momentum under the algorithms.
His content was too homoerotic for me but I viewed it under a veneer of irony.

His goalpost-moving on Oct 7th accidentally exposed the core problem with imitating a Bronze Age warlord. Hamas is not "Bronze Age" because they are confined to a designated fucking around zone, in which they count on "international community" to shield them from ever finding out. But of course they have to operate that way, just as any other would-be warband today, because they all live in the shadow of a leviathan and must play its political games lest they be struck down like Saddam.

BAP can always argue modern warfare isn’t “real” Bronze Age for some sort of descriptive or proscriptive reason.

Ukraine? An industrial meat grinder that wastes the lives of young men.
Gaza? Hamas exists because the international community(and Israel) allow it too, the moment the tide is against it, it begs for help.

What happens when they need giant mechanical dildos that literally don’t exist? Will female hysteria reach some sort of critical mass and if so what happens when it does?
