She has this weird obsession with buying clothes only from the juniors section because then she can pretend she's still in the glory days of when she was 16, back when she was thin, didn't have a kid to pretend to care about, got dick and booze on a regular basis, and had yet to make as big an ass of herself online as she has now.

I think she is trying to shoot for the whole "but I'm the COOOOL MOM! See my clothes?! My makeup?!? I am cool. I am with it! I am happening!! NOTICE MEEEEEE!" Kind of a mix of Soccer Mom and Sexy Mom and Cool Mom. Like that song "Stacey's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne, but more Raven Sparks then Rachel Hunter.
Anyone want to take bets on Kailyn trying to hit on Gracies' future male friends? Lol.

No seriously, when Gracie is old enough to play with other toys and not choke herself to death Kai will probably give her a shit ton of her filthy used makeup. I don't think Kai cares about Graythee enough to buy her new (kid's) makeup.

I want to say Kai has told somebody the reason she hasn't gotten rid of any of her old makeup is because she's going to give it to Gracie when she's older. She's already adamant that Gracie won't be going to college and will become a makeup artist instead, so I guess she wants to get her started early.

Kai has this retarded idea that she wants her daughter to be a makeup artist like is. It's pretty scummy that she thinks she so little of her daughter, and it shows that she's not willing to put in the effort to work towards her daughter's future. It's part of what rustles my jimmies when it comes to Kai, she treats her daughter like a doll.

Here's the hypocrisy, though. Kai is far from a makeup artist herself. I would say that she's a makeup enthusiast.
A makeup artist is more associated with the idea that they turn human faces into different creatures, another celebrity, make them look older/younger, they make dummies of a person, etc. In other words, a makeup artist is just that: using makeup to turn human facial features into complex, special effects art.
Dark color in the crease, light color on the lid, highlighter applied diagonally downwards, smearing blush all over the cheek, clump AF mascara, mistmatched cakey foundation, and incorrectly applied lip colors, are far from 'makeup artist' status.

Some of her makeup dates back to when she was 16 and she wants to keep it for Gracie to use as a teen so it will be like 20+ years old? That's safe. Not to mention, Kai is dirty as fuck and who knows what bacteria is growing on those MAC lipsticks from 2006.

I've heard this one before, but not the college thing. I swear during Kais pregnancy there was lots of talk about Gracie "inheriting her makeup" and being "obsessed with makeup" like Kailyn when she got old enough. Kai sees Guac as a doll which she can project interests onto.
Kailyn has been adamant that Gracie is going to public school though. I think that's because she holds resentment against MW for not letting her go to a real school. She used to run alongside the school bus and wave to the children inside it, I think Kai was a very lonely child. She at least doesn't want that for Guac, I hope.

There was information via GG or YTT (so take it with a grain or two of salt) shortly after Gracie was born that when asked about how she was going to start putting together a college fund for Gracie, Kailyn gigglexhaled and said she wasn't going to bother saving for her education because she wanted Gracie to go into makeup just like Mawm. There were rumours that she even said as much in a comment somewhere before she removed said comment because people were just about ready to storm Bowie with pitchforks and torches over it.
But like I said, as far as I remember I never saw any screenshots or videos of comments like that, but they were brought up repeatedly and apparently by different people. It certainly seems like something Kailyn would say, not realizing how awful it is.

She could've bought the Olay facial brush, if Kai wasn't keen on spending $200 on a Clarisonic. The reviews for the Olay face brush aren't low, either. People have had pretty good face washes with that brush. But priorities, you know what I mean?

Power leveling here, but I recently reread Misery (and then had to watch it because why not) and I was struck by the resemblance between Annie Wilkes and Kai. Particularly the scene where she defends the notion that since she got the expensive writing paper, it has to be better.
For Kai, that Olay brush isn't as good as that super expensive one. It doesn't have that prestige.
