I don't disagree with Kirsche on this but I am siding with Null. I think part of the problem is they're kinda talking past each other and Null automatically goes into velvet hippo mode when he sees not just an anime avatar but a vtuber potentially coming after him because of a lack of boobage in a video game. This whole Steller Blade thing feels forced and astroturffed by mongs like Mark Kern so they can continue to draw a check without doing anything.

The archive dot sites are useless for archiving on twitter anymore. Already made archives still work but Elon has fucked with something and nothing new cam be made. You can try ghostarchive.org and it mostly works but not always. I think Graf, the guy who runs Poa.st made a nitter instance and you can archive tweets off of that, assuming that it is still up and running with all the bullshit Elon has been doing.

How many judges do you think even know what a videogame is? The biggest videogame companies in the world have not been able to sue each other properly because judges are incompetent fuckwits at the best of times. They can only SOMETIMES make a sound judgement when they have tons of previous examples of that type of case and expert witnessses to rely on. I guarantee if they did bring in any expert testimony it'd be some game journo piece of shit or Actiblizz employee who went out of their way to fuck over the case. That's if the case even gets past the judge going "Does the video game tape cassette work when you put it in? ok case dismissed"

you watch filian for the antics and hijinks, kirsche for the commentary. trying to mix it or pull it in any direction will always end poorly. it's not really the fault of anybody, just one of those mishandled "agree to disagree, let's change the topic and keep shooting the shit" occasions.

EDIT:
scratch that, in hindsight it was one of those times you'd need a professional tardwrangler keeping them in check if not outright cutting the feed to force a break. it's like "don't fight in front of the kids", shit like that is best dealt with without the audience, you just need someone to make the call. then they can fling shit offscreen for a few minutes and come back with the air cleaned up or someone dropping out.
