Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

I don't feel like I even understand pregnancy or fetal development well enough to really have an opinion on when the cut-off time for abortion should be. I'm fine with there being basically no restrictions on abortion, I'm not sure if my stance would be considered extreme.
There's plenty of medical information out there surrounding complications where abortion is the proper solution to save the mother's quality of life. There are also people out there that get pregnant just to get an abortion to brag about getting one.

It doesn't really matter to me why women get abortions, I think they should still be allowed regardless of the reasons. But I can understand why that might rub some people the wrong way.

There aren't outside of strawmen made up by propaganda sites (which aren't good sources for anything except content for this thread when they do shit like call literally brainless fetuses "disabled").

Not that abortion debates are really on topic for this thread beyond the issue of abortion for medical reasons/fetal anomaly (which sadly women are being denied abortions for now in many US states).

You're right, it's not really on topic. I do wish some of the mothers shown on this thread hadn't been so against abortion, it would have been a lot more humane.

Apparently she even had 5 children, though aborted her first pregnancy at 19 due to concerns about her health.

Since I know shit like pelvis width, full adult height, body fat, etc doesn't completely finish developing until around mid-20s, I wonder if a few more years was able to make pregnancy safer for her?
It sounds like her first pregnancy was terminated because she had hyperemesis, which didn't happen with her other pregnancies.

I do wonder what her internal anatomy looked like, and nowadays with all the imaging we can do, we would.

I encountered a few alleged examples of the latter as a teenager. I think most of them were bragging about it to get attention, and TBH were probably virgins. (I'll never forget the girl who stopped bragging after I told her boyfriend, who was bullying me, that he was a baby killer in front of the class. That was one of my proudest moments - really. He was a piece of crap, and so was she.)

Sadly some BPD people will do this as a means of attention or control. I've only run into 2 or 3 though luckily so its quite rare.

On Topic:
Born Abel posted earlier in this thread passed away recently. The mother has up to 15 children's books shes selling for $15/$20 a pop using her sons drawn image as well as many other instagram people. Gotta profit off her child's death sadly.

I couldn't find the post about him in the thread, but apparently Born Abel is also a group that exists to highlight and normalize the humanity, worth and abilities of all babies and children born with complex health conditions... by publishing colorful children’s books highlighting kids with medical complexities throughout the world.

The illustrations look nice I guess? I'm not sure if Abel would want to remembered like this though.

I wonder if their overpriced prolife propagandachildrens books feature any brainless anencephaly zombabies? Would love to see how the art style would make frog babies look.

Looks like Abel himself had T18, so it's sadly not surprising he passed.

Also, the brainless surrogacy fetus went to the big spud patch in the sky. They live in Virginia so thankfully the surrogate shouldn't have any trouble getting a dead brainless fetuses yeeted from her body (states like Texas have denied women abortions even for fetuses that are already dead)

There's a bit of a difference between "medically complex" and "terminally ill" or "incompatible with life."
Yeah "medically complex" is a euphemism they use a lot, probably because it's vague and doesn't specify the condition being largely/completely fatal. They're openly butthurt about "incompatible with life", even though I'd say dying in infancy is pretty fucking incompatible with life.

But no, it's all those mean evil doctors faults for being honest about the fact their kid is doomed and not wanting to perform needless medical procedures or pointlessly prolong it's suffering.

When I think of a medically complex child, I think of a type 1 diabetic with a feeding tube, as the best example that someone easily understands. Someone becomes medically complex when you start installing tubes and buttons and more stuff, but it is a choice in a way that a DM1 child with dire gastroparesis just needs the feeding tube and close monitoring.

I don't care if you're not religious, but I believe having healthy children is a blessing from God. It's humbling when you realize all the things that can go wrong.

"fun" fact: depending on how far along she was, she may have to be induced and give birth to the dead baby (when it's too far along it's not possible to do a D&C, not without dismantling the foetus anyway). Caesarians are avoided because obviously surgery has risk, and also to avoid a permanent scar that's a reminder of their stillbirth.

Yeah to me medically complex means a kid with medical issues, but that still has a quality of life and doesn't have a lethal condition.

A kid with a condition that's lethal early in life isn't just medically complex, that's straight up incompatible with life.

While obviously there are t18/13 kids that have managed to survive longer, those are conditions that are almost always lethal within the first year of life.

One of my mates has a medically complex child. He has a congenital heart defect that wasn't able to be fixed properly with surgery. His mother feels so guilty because he's been waiting for a heart transplant for 7 years now (been really lucky to have been kept stable with meds and monitoring) and, while she really wants it to happen, she also hates it because it means someone else has lost their child.

He is a relatively normal child with normal interests and he has a chance to live a good life. The incompatible with life babies definitely have no chance to have any normal experiences, let alone have any experiences that aren't sedated in a hospital attached to tubes.

Paisley's mother has returned because a random someone else's new dwarf child (18 months old) looks like paisley (btw most with TDS look the same facially). How long until she deems this child to BE Paisley. It is adorable how they found a way to stop contractions using its little pool noodles. Luckily it seems this one's parents are going to make sure she gets therapies she needs.
