This of course assumes the judge isn't bought or paid for by Sony. Which I'd argue most judges now a days have conflicting investments or family members with conflicting investments in big corps.

She was indie until she joined Mythic Talent earlier this year. I think this is just what zoomers/children like now. She's also pretty aggressive about getting visibility, she pays people to clip/edit and reupload iirc.

Filian was a gateway for me because she was the first vtuber I saw that was neither 1) coombait 2) moeshit or 3) castrated by corpo opsec but man is it lowest common denominator content.

She was kind of orbiting people like Mizkif long before she ever joined Mythic. She's been around OTK and other adjacent streamers for 2+ years now (not sure how much longer because this is just me looking quickly into it)

I'm glad it's not just me; at first I had assumed it was another side effect of some recent move to target adblockers. Streams were entirely unwatchable in Brave due to constant buffering and high CPU usage.

My entertainment PC has a 5900X, and this thing loves to run. It will use all the power you give it, to go as fast as it can, unless you specifically ask it not to. The upshot is that it makes a good "piece of shit software" detector - if a game or general purpose software chokes while the CPU has its foot to the firewall, odds are there's an optimization issue.

I switched over to viewing in Firefox with a NoScript/Greasemonkey combo for adblock and streams still hiccup a lot, but it's more like a bunch of tiny intermittent hiccups as opposed to staring at a buffer icon most of the time. It doesn't peg my CPU either.

anyone have a rough timestamp for the coomalot bit? Sadly my stream fucking lagged hard so I just got some bits here and there. Side note I wish Lisa was in Phase but at this point if it was gonna happen it would have already happened. Lisa will forever be the talent that got away.

Alas it was not to be with today's stream - some of the Stellar Blade seething was covered, primarily on anime avatars being retarded alongside the futility of petitions and why these aggreived gamers should actually put their money where their mouth is and fund a class action to effect actual change.

The Kirsche bullet was dodged, another total vtuber death rant and the inevitable flood of people shitting up the stream chat arguing with each other was avoided.
