There are three (3) potential reasons she'd be making a big honkin' deal out of this random archaic holiday that she's never even mentioned before in a decade of cowhood.

1) most likely: probably a Rammstein thing somehow

2) second most likely: edgelord Satanist thing

3) backup: Stapphy is like the last holdout of 2016 tumblr in human form, and 99% of people have probably only heard that word in the context of Puelli Magi Madoka Magika or whatever the name is. You know, the magical girl deconstruction anime. Which all of tumblr was super into.

Is Walpurgisnacht really that random and archaic? I thought everyone at least kind of knew about it. Maybe I just know too many witches lol. My money's on edgelord satanist norse druid thing.

Walpurgisnacht is still celebrated today in Northern and Central Europe, especially in Scandinavian countries. It basically spawns from a Christian religious celebration, but it also crosses over with traditional pagan ritual in a lot of European myth (Bealtaine which she mentioned for example, which to this day is the Irish gaelic word for May) which is likely why she's sperging about it. Basically in Sweden it's a day where everyone drinks and parties, the carnival is in town and they have a massive bonfire in the evening which comes from when they'd traditionally make them to ward off evil spirits. Lots of themes of liminality and changing seasons.

I'd be inclined to say that Gyro's obsession is in the neopagan aspects of it unless part of it is her RETVRN TO TRVE NORDIC HERITAGE larp. Perfectly normal to celebrate it depending on cultural context, but she's kinda doing it wrong and making a larp out of it from what's documented here.

Same but I blame Illuminatus! by Roberts Anton Wilson and Shea.

Speaking of, it does seem odd that Stephanie didn't ever have an annoying Discordian phase, but then again, she's not great at research.

What she thinks Walpurgisnacht is:
it wasn’t exactly a successful ritual. There I was, on the side of the mountain, and my offering was only smoking. It had burned about 1/4th of the way and then just fizzled out. I asked Loki for some flames, and he only laughed at me. Then, he spilled my bottle of alcohol all over my ceremonial patch.
What Walpurgisnacht actually is:

I think it depends where you live, tbh. Sounds like it's much more (understandably) a European thing, so the ways in which a random sedentary smalltown Amerifat like Stapphy would know about it are pretty limited.

Honestly, I grew up in a part of America with more than its fair share of crunchy witchy woowoo types AND I really enjoy old folklore and mythology, and I wasn't all that familiar with it.

Let's count the social media accounts, shall we?

- Her personal blog.
- Twitter account for herself (although 'inactive' apparently).
- Twitter account for Peetie, her dead cat, so he doesn't need one.
- Twitter account that is currently locked and even though it only has 4 followers she has made 40+ posts.
- Mastodon for herself.
- Mastodon for her cat.
- Blue Sky for herself.
- Blue Sky for her trans org.
- Pillow fort account.
- Reddit account.
- YouTube account.
- Instagram account for herself.
- Instagram for her dead cat.
- Facebook for herself.
- Facebook for her trans org.
- Her patch selling website.

I'm sure there are more.

Edit to add:
- Etsy account for her patches that she now uses to build an ever growing 'favourites' list.
- Pinterest account with a collection of boards.
- Archive of Our Own with multiple fan fictions written on it.
- Dahmer memorial site contributor.
- Discord account that is a member of at least one Jeffrey Dahmer/deviant server.

Reblogging still counts as being online, retard.

So what the fuck does she class as 'chronically online'?

Your forgot the 'tribute site' where Stapphy and Co write college length essays about how Dahmer only murderraped his victims because he was sensitive and mommy didn't hug him or whatever.

what does this mean
Fat ass almost steps on snake because they're unaware of their surroundings.
2) second most likely: edgelord Satanist thing
It's a general witch thing. People use the Wheel of the Year from Wicca as holidays regardless if they'r Wiccan or not. Most people say May Day/Beltane and pretentious people tend to use Walpurgisnact. Regardless of tradition they're basically used interchangeably.

Most of the people I know who celebrate anything May Day related are older people who do it because their Swedish grandmas did. I even remember celebrating a bit in my rural middle America elementary school. Not an edgy satanist or pagan for miles, just really folksy white people.

She’s got plenty of folksy white people around her, but they’re more Italian/Polish/some kind of British, right? I don’t think they get down with the Midsommar vibe much, but I could be wrong.

Stephanie: "I am *not* constantly on the internet! 😤"
Also Stephanie: Only knows that people think she's chronically online because she read it while lurking this website. Constantly deletes and remakes Twitter accounts. Announces she'll be deleting or taking a break from social media only to migrate to some other website within 24 hours. Can't shut up about KF even when speaking at a university event. Would shrivel into a husk of a person if she actually had zero internet for 3 months

To be fair, I doubt there's much of a community offline for people who thirst over dead serial killers and celebrities, so that "hobby" is pretty much exclusive to the internet. If she wanted to get up off her ass and grow a thicker skin when it comes to people disagreeing with her wacky gender labels and beliefs, she could surely find a group of local metalhead friends to hang with who could help her develop less basic-bitch tastes in music since her current thing is to claim how BROOTAL and METAL she is. Or really anything that doesn't involve her totes kweer identity or the objects of her fantasies.

I think she's missing that saying someone is "chronically online" is about more than just the amount of time you spend on the internet. It's really more about the mindset that develops as a result of the time spent online. Stephanie is chronically online in the sense that her personality, interests, and opinions are all created and shaped by the internet.

The original poster-- the one she reblogged-- was kind of being disingenuous about that. I'm not going to judge someone who is trapped inside for one reason or another and relies on the internet for some-- or even a lot-- of their entertainment and interaction. Someone like Stephanie, though, exists in an online vacuum to the point that she's a living manifestation of Tumblr. That's weird and excessive.

The sex site with bum flags?

That's right, the hookup site where she was inviting people over. Can't think of the name because I'm not a chronically online deviant. Speaking of which, she may not be on DeviantArt anymore, but it deserves an honorary mention on this list.

It was Fetlife, I think it was speculated whether or not she is still on it (I think you need an account to check it though). Before that, she was on some sex worker website where she butted in on some thread about prostitutes, I think.

You're totally right, it's more of a mindset. People can be 'chronically online' due to their job, or if it's their only form of socialising because they're housebound. I get that. But Staph is the classic Chronically Online stereotype with 84 genders, puts trigger warnings for photos with eye contact (including ones of her cat), and claims she is a viking twink behind an anime PFP. It's all shit that can not be applied to the real world. No one will address you by your made up labels, know not to make eye contact with you, or treat you like a viking IRL, because you're not a child.

Edit to avoid double post. I understand if you want to amend your ratings:
Gay-cleaned.jpg
Being hypersexual and asexual is utter nonsense. She horny posts all day long on Tumblr like she's sexually deranged.

These anon asks are 100% her. They sound like her, use her terminology, plus why else would she reblog them? If so, I hope she's not thinking of Siggy in this way.

Wow.
That second ask is pure repulsiveness.
Bitch, sensual is almost always predominately defined with sex. There's almost no way to seperate them.
What is your fucking obsession with wanting to keep that zoo tag jackass?
Seriously, anything to try be specialer-rer am I rite...
Forgive the outburst, but between this and the til shit, she's really just pissing me off now.
