Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

isn't there something in one of the 90s/00s books about Luke drinking hot chocolate or coffee and there's some aside about Lando getting it from some backwater planet in another Galaxy or something, alluding to Earth in passing?
First instance I remember was in the first book of the thrawn trilogy. Luke does indeed talk about some nifty little drink Lando introduced him too, Threepio acts nervous about it cause it's a Lando drink, and Luke shows how much of a boyscout he is when he reveals its hot chocolate. Coffee is also a thing, but it's called Caf/Caff in Star Wars.

Don't think it really means earth is being referenced directly or indirectly, though.

no problem, I'm probably just mixing up some stuff from reading them decades ago and having buddies REALLY into the novels

Welp.
RIP Scorch 2011-2024. Barely lasted a second against the Delta Squad 2.0

Another fan-favorite character from when Star Wars was good dies like a pussy to Furloni's pets. I'm glad the likes of Kyle Katarn or Mara Jade are forgotten. Better for these characters to never exist in nuCanon at all than exist and face utter humiliation like so many others.

If these fuckers remastered one of the Westwood RTS titles you would only be able to run it on an actual fucking starship.
Fuck I miss Westwood. I just dug my old Emperor: Battle for Dune CDs out, and am trying to figure out how to get them to run on Windows 10. Tactical game play mixed with pure cheese. Love it.
I don't know if I ever want Earth to factor into Star Wars. I feel like it would ruin the appeal somehow.
Considering that this all happens "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away," it would introduce some issues. No I don't want intergalactic space whales to have been the mounts for the Sith Sea Peoples who caused the Bronze Age collapse, that would just be weird.

Not a day goes by I'm not happy I never got into the cartoons. "I have no idea what an Asokha Tano is, and I have no intention of learning."

What kind of morons would store Not-Godzilla in what was going to be the research center for the Emperor's clones? They do realize they can have multiple worlds for different cloning projects, right? They can clone Zillos in some farm world where they can just drop it in an empty continent where it can roam around, maybe they can take a few and cyberize them to become living war machines, but putting one in the research station working to create the Emperor's clones is stupid as fuck.

Also, sending infantry to try and stop something that lightsabers couldn't stop is just wasting men. I know the Empire has bottomless reserves of men, but this doesn't even make their deaths worthwhile. They're better off trying to lure the damn thing into the open where turbolaser artillery or an orbital strike can take care of it.

It's still funny to me that they try to sell the idea that the clones are somehow too loyal to each other to betray one another, when in reality, clones, like any human being in Star Wars, have the choice between good or evil. Some clones chose good, others chose to be psychos, while most continued to follow orders.

The best part of the episode was the shot of the Star Destroyer and Tarkin mulling about the destroyed base.

That is not the real Scorch. The real Scorch was a fun-loving goofball. If they wrote his character faithfully, he'd be the one to ally with the kids and blow up the facility from within, since he was Delta Squad's demolition expert.

I guess it's basically confirmed that Furloni is just going to use his fan fiction OC's to kill off and ruin any remnants of the old EU. I seriously hate what's become of this franchise.
Just don't view it as canon; it's basically another continuity anyways. One that will always lead to TLJ and RoS, so we all know it'll just be a mess. The real SW canon ended on a happy note, with one of Leia's descendants ruling over the Empire she once fought.

Also, the clone assassins in this episode are nowhere near as awesome as the clone assassins in the OG canon.

I already don't, I just saw normies hyping up the finale so I decided to go read a synopsis of what happened online.

Same. Never knew how good we had it until it was gone.
Watching those old leaks of cancelled LucasArts games hits me the hardest. Especially with how risk averse they are with games now which means we won't ever get a Star Wars version of Ready or Not to scratch that tacticool shooter itch and I highly doubt with how bad Todd fumbled the bag Disney will ever let a Star Wars game as ambitious as Star Field be made.

Star Wars version of Ready or Not
Fuck.
Now I want a Tie Fight/X-Wing Tactical Shooter series where you lead a squad of Storm Troopers/Rebel Special Forces through rapid assault raids.
Imagine coordinating boarding the Tantive IV or having your squad of ultimate bad-asses waste an Ewok village.

I'm pretty sure you can do both in the classic versions of Battlefront 1 and 2. I tooled around as a Dark Trooper shotgunning Ewoks in the face in the former, and in the latter, there's that mission that is just the Tantive IV raid.

I mean more like Rainbow 6 sort of building/equiping your squads and giving them orders not just your immediate team or pinging objectives for bots. Coordinating three squads bursting into the Tantive IV including having a group of mad-lads breeching the cockpit bridge. Shit would be pretty Kino. Thankfully Didney will never make this.

On the Rebel Alliance side of the house there's a million sabotage or prison break missions you could dream up. Have the ability to deploy troopers of different race with different abilities. Like always putting the Bothans on point.

Who wants to put money on her being in another show or having her own show?
She's going to be one of the POV's in the inevitable Tales of the Rebellion series, which will almost certainly just be picking up dangling plot threads from TCW and setting up Mando/Ahsoka whilst not being about the Rebellion at all.
And now that she's of age, will she be Filoni's new waifu?
Amiga isn't really Filoni's creation so no, his eyes are dead set on Ahsoka with Sabine & Hera as his side bitches.

In the better side of the EA Cycle, EA got as much of Westwood's team back together for the C&C and Red Alert remasters on PC, which are now on Steam.

The team is still back together, and they recently dropped hints that they're working on doing TibSun and RA2 next.

Amusing how Disney/LFL will defecate on the characters of the Expanded Universe, but will waste no time at all to whore them out for merchandise like their Sideshow or Hot Toys Figure Line.

I guess those Ahsoka and Book of Boba Fett-themed figures weren't moving enough stock at the Hot Toys Warehouse.
Is that AI Generated or just a bad looking render of what the figures are supposed to resemble?, becuase that Luke's face looks so.... wrong in that first image.
