It appears that the FBI agent involved has been in contact with Daniel for a while according to this reddit post


MacDougall is a real secret service agent. There has been many complaints coming in about Danderson for a while. Any time he’d post bomb/terrorist threats on his YouTube page, some people in this subreddit would call the cops, and some were alerting the fbi through an online reporting page.

After the Walmart incident, Danderson called 911 and yelled at the operator, saying that he was going to bomb various government buildings. He ended up in the psyche ward for about a week, and after that is when he first posted a photo of MacDougall’s business card.

As you saw, there is brief footage of Danderson meeting up with MacDougall and his partner. This happened after Danderson posted a shit ton of bomb threats. From that meeting, it seems like Danderson was heavily warned that just making these threats is a felony that could result in jail time. Danderson also tried his hardest to make it seem as tho the agents were working for him as a way to scare trolls, but of course, that made no sense and wasn’t true. Danny has seen MacDougall since then. Apparently, he was the one who got Danny arrested after he skipped court one day, and apparently was the one who seized Danderson’s phone.

For a little while, Danderson had complained about MacDougall changing his number so often. Which means that trolls pretending to be MacDougall had fooled him. Mgmt would also lie to Danny about them being in contact with the agent.

So, even tho MacDougall is a real person, Danny seems to be texting with fake MacDougalls as well. Also, since MacDougall is a government agent and not a private investigator, he was never hired to help Danny. Danny likes to say that the agent was working for him, but that isn’t true. MacDougall is/was investigating him, not investigating for him.


Seems like people have been using the MacDougall name to put fear into Daniel for a while. Fun to see him pop up on the actual filings.

The managers have maintained pretty consistently that this is all just fun and games, nobody's really getting hurt, Daniel would be crazy with or without them. It seems obvious to anyone with a brain that that isn't the case, that they've definitely made him significantly worse, but how much do they believe they aren't culpable? I guess we're about to find out!

The "Oh Daniel would be doing this stuff anyways it's okay to fuck with him!" is simply cope. Multiple times Daniel has had violent outbursts in real life breaking shit in stores or freaking out directly because of things the managers have told him. He's violently hit himself because they told him stuff about Grace. The whole Olive Garden incident where he accused people of printing out his nudes then pulling the fire alarm was all his managers. They are complicit. Daniel is responsible for his own actions of course but feeding a schizophrenic man delusions is pretty evil shit.

I wouldn't be surprised if he pleads to something and just gets probation. Or a "wake the fuck up retard" sentence of a few months. I really don't think they'll peg him as a serious risk of doing anything, but they might be pissed at having to deal with this creep at all.

In theory, since these are different targets, he could end up consecutively sentenced to the max for each one for a total of 60 years. In actual practice, I'd be surprised if he got the max on even one of them or they bothered even to try for that. I think most likely he gets to plead to one of the most serious ones, like the White House or if one of them was more credible (like the threat to the special agent since they really do not like that shit).

I'd be shocked to see him get much more than a year or two, I think five is probably the outer limit of probability, and wouldn't be surprised if they outright decide he's a (relatively) harmless retard and either give him a probation or a wake up call sentence to get his attention.

It's definitely possible this gets him an "Inactive" tag though.

Even if he doesn't straight up plead insanity, pleading that he's a retard and throwing himself on the mercy of the court (with a reasonable plea bargain) might get him some mercy.

This is why Pat is one of the best cows to follow from time to time: he's so reprehensible that you root for bad things to happen to him and his a-logs (the Pests/Brothermen/OnA forums) have a fairly keen knack for knowing when to pull back and when to go full bore on him; sometimes they cross into cringe territory (like leaving stuff around at Penguicon last weekend), but for the most part they're way more restrained compared to Larson's a-logs. As far as I know, none of the Brothermen have knowingly sent Pat CSAM, just boobs and wookiees. And he's a lot more entertaining when left to his own devices and normal people randomly encounter him on Xitter and see firsthand how terrible of a person he is.

Daniel's a-logs could learn a few things from the Brothermen, but shitty ass rotten kids who want to be the next Clyde Cash are gonna be shitty ass kids who end up becoming Bluespike.

He’d be considered a medium priority case because he does not have the means to go through with his threat, but is still a threat to the public. Feds can afford to be slow with this kind of person.

They were probably banking on local LE to hold him so he couldn’t tard about, but Colorado’s finest let them down.
