This article, from a little later on in 2023, indicates that he stopped appearing on the show to handle Crowder's legal issues. What's interesting is that article mentions Bill planing a role in drafting contracts for employees. If Jared's NLRB's case results in Crowder's NDAs being illegal, I wonder what that will mean with Bill, if he was the one who created those?

Betty originally was gone for a while to be trained, because she was brought in to be Hopper's buddy but he passed away and she was too young and "playful," and then Joe Louis appeared. I remember they showed Betty returning to their home and her just ignoring everyone but she "liked being on the farm so much" where she was trained/born, Steven said it would be better if she stayed there.

I just want to state the most obvious likely reason that Crowder's wife had IVF treatments for conception.

Crowder has a genetic connective tissue disorder. This could have killed him without the surgery to free up his lungs.

I would not be surprised if Crowder and his wife decided that it would be cruel to possibly pass down this connective tissue trait to their children. Thus, a sperm donor.

Now the children are not biologically Crowder's. This may explain his lack of connection and interest in the children.
