Yeah he used to be a fanboy of nuGod of War and then when people started shitting on Ragnarok he switched camp and decided that the first game was always shit.

Surprising that Griffin Gaming shows up in Synth's streams despite how much of a flip-flopper he is. I'd figure he would hate Synth.

I've seen this one. Had to speed it up 2x because the dude's response is basically to plug his ears and say "woke isn't happening."
Griffin didn't even plug the video he was commenting on either which is scummy.
Regardless, yeah, this looks really bad in light of Sweet Baby coming out and basically saying that, yes, they were purposely putting woke shit in GoWR.
And, yes, Angrboda is black because forced representation and forced inclusion "is cool."
Griffin pulls the same counterarguments that Drinker pulls too. Namely, "it's a fictional world so they can do whatever they want."

Maybe Griffin is getting red-pilled by Synth, or maybe he's just looking for another grift. In any case, I don't trust him.

I've been to a couple of his streams. You just need to subscribe to his YouTube page to chat, and it's free. He just mostly talks about whatever comes across his mind. They're aimless streams.

He is spot on about Eve's face being a mediocre design. It looks like they took 50 Korean plastic surgery models, averaged and symmetrized them, then made the proportions slightly more anime. The facial features are way too smooth, almost like a subdivided mesh without a high-poly sculpt.

The game overall looks nice, but it's not above most games made with the latest engines and assets. The overall design seems very safe, and nothing I saw besides the coomer bait really stuck with me. Grey-brown mutant monsters aren't all that interesting. Eve's body and animations look top-notch, but a face with a little more character would have elevated the whole game by a lot.
Korea is experiencing a surge in Judeo-Christians; I think that might explain all those Torah references.

Might be worth pirating when it comes to PC.

I can actually see his point. Eve is nice looking but she would be the "downgraded" version of a sexy coomerbait character if you go back to the late 00s and early 10s. It's just we've gone so far into hideous troll territory that anything remotely decent looks god-tier now.

It's also nice to see someone not gushing over "muh Dark Souls" combat for once and admitting that it's kind of shit at its core. Dunno what the fuck devs were thinking trying to merge DMC style with Souls style.

Her body?
It's on the same level as Crystal Dynamic Lara or Blood Rayne.
Her generic Korean monkey face tanks her overall appearance, but just for the body they did a great job in the coomer bait department.
The only game that comes to my mind with more exaggerate proportions is Darkwatch.

Yeah dark souls combat is mid when it comes to hack and slash. Synth saying it's not fully DS combat made me consider pirating it.
I think even some weird hybrid is better than a DS copy again.

Why does nobody copy Ninja Gaiden's combat system, it's one of the most fun ones?
It's might be because most devs suck and can't implement a fast paced melee combat system without it being ass.

I don't think Griffin Gaming is a contrarien. He legitimately seems to believe most of his unpopular opinions no matter how dumb they are. He is however a hypocrite. I'm ashamed to admit this but I did used to be a fan of his channel and because of this I attended a fair amount of his streams.

He'll constantly contradict himself with each stream and can't keep his opinions consistent. In one stream he said that being attracted to a 16-18 year old wasn't bad and was legal in most countries. In another stream he said it was pedophilia. This is just one example of how he can't keep his opinions consistent.

Seems like he's gotten greedier. His retarded pay pigs will probably still waste their money on him. Most of his chat give off the impression of either being autistic or low IQ and overly emotional. I can't completely blame Griffin for taking advantage of them.
