Fuck, I hope not. Boeing used to build its planes entirely in the US, but now buys pre-built parts from different countries (mainly Italy, France, and Japan) and does the final assembly in the US. Given that Boeing's failed half of the FAA's inspection this year, I shudder to think what *even more lax* build quality would be like.

The Union Carbide/Bhopal incident is still making me leery.

The board members/shareholders of United Airlines, British Airways, Virginia, or QANTAS don't give a fuck about you or your loved ones.

All of these big corporations are focused on maximising wealth extraction for themselves in the short term, there is no future planning anymore. They're also consolidating to the point where you don't get any choice either - you have to use/buy from them or one of their subsidiaries.

Combined with my university stint and career in IT, all I can say is fuck pajeets. I've met some actually intelligent and competent indians, who have put in the effort to learn finnish. These are usually guys who have put in the effort to go through worlds biggest shit strainer. Too bad that 99% of them make the rest look bad. So far whenever I've had to work with indians they've more or less managed to turn even the actually simplest things to go pear shaped, require constant babysitting and in the end try to argue why they should not do something that's actually already written in the contract they signed. It's a fucking mickey mouse show with them, and instead of trying to figure out something their first instinct is to start looking busy.
Communication with them is also so fucked up you feel like you've stepped on other universe where english language uses the same words and grammar, but words have totally unrelated meaning. "Yes" means whatever from "fuck you, I can't be arsed to do my job" to "yeah, you asked me, I see your mouth moving but can't be arsed to listen". "Almost done" means "this shit is on fire, I've managed to hide it behind my back and I'm jumping the ship as soon as you're out of my view". And so on and so on.
I've literally been called into a teams meeting, since they couldn't figure out how to start docker container for client demo. If they've not done something before, or feel particularily lazy, it's weaponized incompetence all the way. Now slap on that how they try to act how they're higher than anyone else, fuck them. Fuck the whole subcontinent that spawned them and particularily fuck the ones that try to bum a fag from me.
