So why are the kids starving to the point they seek out help from random adults who aren't their parents and say their parents are too busy or doing stuff or whatever to feed them?
I can't think of a single time as a child that I had to ask random adult strangers for food. Can you?
When my parents had houseguests over amd I wanted something heated in the microwave, I asked them to heat things for me if they were in the kitchen and my parents were somewhere else in the house. I was 6 or 7 and wanted nuggies or something else and wasn't too particular who prepared them. It really wasn't that complicated or contrived...
I'm all aboard for laughing at the story Aaron told because of the hilarious implications becuase just like Drexel's grooming tale, HE thought it was a good story to tell, but it backfired tremendously. The lack of self-awareness is funny in and of itself, and invited mockery. If child services bust Nick later, this will just be another nail in the coffin, but I'll wait until that (or something comparable) happens to call 'neglect'.
Nick is pathetic enough to laugh at already.
