It's free, you can get it from their website or use steam if you want to. Setting it up is easy if you aren't retarded, you just have to download "cores" through their UI, some might require BIOS files which are easy to find.

lol you don't actually believe that, do you? Read the announcement about this. "Due to technical reasons," they couldn't enforce this mandate on release. This means they absolutely wanted to (and were actively trying), but were too incompetent to shoehorn this restriction into the game in time.

He absolutely knew this was intended from the beginning, and this is merely feigned shock and surprise.

This genuinely surprises me. Usually when companies make decisions this retarded they double-down on the stupidity and back up all but the most egregious of the smarmy sass from their jannies.

I doubt it's the result of a suddenly-remorseful CEO though. I see this a lot with Sony games, especially their IPs. When you ask where the games are, the shills respond with Horizon, GoW etc. When you look at the sales of the games vs sales of the hardware, something doesn't add up.

Either, the games sell like shit and no-one is interested in playing them; your best game was only played by 20% of your fans? OR, Sony are pulling a Microsoft and are being fucky with the wording of "sold hardware". MS swapped the definition of sold, from sold to customers, to sold to a company where the hardware sits in a warehouse.

With the reluctance of a price drop, after a price increase, 3.5 years into the gen, Playstation must be fucking struggling worse than they're admitting.

The Gran Turismo games also come to mind, given that the series isn't as mainstream as the Forza games, and Sony doesn't (?) usually post about the amount of copies that were sold. There was the leak that revealed that GT Sport sold 12.7 million copies, but given that both GT Sport and GT7 had PS4/PS5 + the game bundled, how many of it was with the console + game bundle, compared to just the game itself.
