I don’t think the meme will ever die as long as Trump draws breath. Now we’re at the point where folks are basically saying the GOP has completely shifted to where you need to know that Trump has shifted the paradigm and it’s time to get with the program.

Also, I think Trump is the “He just like me FR!” meme from Chainsaw Man: They see Trump and his campaign as the kind of thing they’d want to do if they had power: go enemies and deliver a harsh punishment to those they feel are responsible for the things plaguing society. And if those things don’t go exactly as advertised, it’s because of shadow forces working against them, up to and including people with access to an elite network of assassins that can go after anyone that could undermine plans for domination and control by killing them and making it look like a suicide.
