That's because back in the 90s and early 2000s, the second-wave, tranny-hating feminists during those days were FOR eroticism and displays of female sexuality, so they put it everywhere, in movies, video games, kids' cartoons, the works. Then the feminist movement pivoted, from the second-wave to the third-wave, and the latter favored less overt sexuality, as well as more acceptance for transexuals.
The feminists realized their plan to use eroticism to break down the family didn't work, all it did was make men horny and want to have a wife and child, reinforcing the ''neo-masculine hierarchy'' which they despise. So now they go the opposite route and see all sexualized female characters as objectification of women, like with the Stellar Blade ''debacle'' going on nowadays. Back then, the feminists would be all for that game, nowadays, they fear it like the plague. The same thing goes for Leia with a metal bikini, all the sexy female Jedi during the SWEU's golden days, naked Cortana hologram from Halo, Zero Suit Samus, you get the picture.
Back in the day, the feminists loved sexy female characters and saw them as displays of female empowerment, now they see such displays of female sexuality as cancer and want it all gone, they want every female wrapped up and de-sexualized as much as possible, a complete 180-degree turn from what they originally were doing in the 1990s and 2000s. Which is actually kind of funny, they're doing the old, conservative Christian right's work for them, because the Old Right despised sexualized content back in the day and wanted women to be prim and proper even in fiction.
