I think it helped a lot that the Developers themselves were extremely pissed at Sony. They were definitely rocking the boat and making it known they were going to look for better options. I wonder if they had a deal that permitted them to leave Sony as a publisher.

Having a company the size of Valve in the middle, stuck fielding tens to hundreds of thousands of refund requests and manual CS tickets on a weekend, probably didn't hurt.

I had an inkling this shit would get walked back I'm just surprised it happened so quick. I doubt Sony gave a fuck about the negative reviews in and of itself it was most likely due to Steam issuing refunds and the fact that they knew they'd get cucked in court once the inevitable lawsuit(s) rolled around. It's astounding when you really think about this whole situation, here they had an absolute beast of a game that was doing amazing compared to just about any other recent game I can think of. They had an almost unheard of universally positive fanbase that included employees receiving praise heaped upon them for how they dealt with the community. People sucking their dicks about the in-game DLC being reasonably fair to players. Hell even when they had fuck ups with the matchmaking and shit people were barely getting angry about it. In my time playing I've not ran into a single toxic player which is something I've never had happen before either.

So why go blow the whole thing up just to try and fudge the player numbers? You're cutting a huge portion of your fanbase out by literally making them unable to play the game so what exactly where they hoping to achieve. Gaming companies really do seem incapable of not cutting off their own dick in order to try and jew more cash when most of the time if they did the smart thing they'd make way more cash in the long run. Gaben and Valve really are lightening in a bottle despite there being instructions to follow his example.

I bought and played helldiver's 2 and found it to be enjoyable the first month, although there were points i found sus like how all the ship crew were niggers but now a couple months later it's become much clearer.

In the last 6 months the video gaming industry has seen a massive increase of ESG and kike infiltration.
They have spread from AAA games to indie games and even foreign gacha games are bending over and censoring/diversifying their shit now.
It seems the largest push has been into Korean games which have always had an excellent reputation for not giving a shit, Japan seems to be sliding as well but there's enough japs putting their heart and soul into their shit that they are still holding on although the real killer for japanese media is the lack of fucks given about how their stuff is treated outside japan, they seem to have a large disconnect and lack of understanding when it comes to the west which lets the kikes co-opt and defile their work.

I have a feeling a year from now that the gaming industry will be unrecognizable.
The sheer aggression of their ESG implementation is like the troon shit on steroids and internet/tech culture shifts a 100 times faster than real life culture.

I'm gonna make a prediction and check back in 6 months:
>GTA6 will be a dumpster fire
>All triple A games will have ESG/kike shit out the ass and their won't ever be another Elden Ring tier game
>Every promising indie game will have ESG or be a bait and switch
>Japan will bend the knee hard enough that they will start uglifying/trooning their anime characters
>Gaben will die of a "heart attack" and the company will be taken over by kikes and ruined within months

Yeah, I was there, I quit playing, got banned from their discord for saying the automaton broadcast was repeating "N I GG 3 R beta 1.2.4 protocol..." When you say nigger on a pozzed server, it is like the fucking Gestapo, there is a 60 second slow mode for all participants but my screen was filled with things like 'yikes MODS MODS MODS.' The reality of it is this, Arrowhead has been very abusive towards the player base. Anytime we found something cool, working as intended, then set out to enjoy it, Arrowhead would nerf it. The Railgun was humbled because people enjoyed it, then the Quasar, then the Sickle, now basically every gun in the game got a 'balance patch' which nerfed all but the cowboy pistol. It's a joke. They show me these warbonds, the first two I went, Hmm! But then they both introduced new meta and both times, they kneecapped it because the player base gravitated towards any loadout that could do a 40 minute mission in 15 minutes. So time they nerf stuff, new warbond comes out, then it gets nerfed, new warbond.. etc. Remember the BREAKER? It's been BALANCED twice. I am from an MMO background and my brain is built to detect when a company who does not respect my times patches whatever they need to in order to make the road to 150 longer, exposing you to more warbonds, it's a fuckin mess and every time I boot it, my diver has a little less vim in his step and the guns always feel like Wish.com or Temu versions they patched silently overnight so less people would riot.

Fuck em, fuck Arrowhead, fuck Sony. Steam was probably the Patrick Swazi in Dirty Dancing for consumers. No one puts 40 year old neckbeards in the corner.

And don't forget matchmaking didn't work for 5 weeks. I won't. )

I'm sorry you have to exercise more than a single brain cell and do more than spam the Quasar with a shield when you play. Absolutely no one enjoyed loading into lobbies to be on teams where every single person had a shield backpack and Quasar. Also the Sickle is still the top tier primary for bots, don't know what you're blabbering about sounds like you just suck at the ammo management.
