I wonder how many other early medicalized "trans" kids are stuggling with an artificially induced lack of sexual orientation?
They'll end up awkwardly tolerating some kind of sexual act they have no desire for with a partner (or several) they have no sexual attraction to, because that is what society has taught them is expected of them, out of a desire for companionship more than anything else, and know no different. They might feel the vestiges of what would have eventually become the natural inclination to find a mate, but the ones who are puberty blocked and had the parts physically taken out of them can't experience sexual attraction as most average people (or even older pre-teens) know it. I'd think some might experience frustration and dysphoria (in the general sense, not "gender dysphoria") because of an intrinsic sense they
could be very attracted to a particular person, but lack the physical and mental capability to ever try to do anything further with that information. It makes sense that their "sexual orientation" would be pretty flexible and basically approximate bisexual or t4t by default, if they don't have innate sexual instincts complicating matters, sex/gender might not factor in all that much in whether they find someone generally appealing.
Worst case for these kids is they end up being serially sexually exploited by opportunists and groomers because they lack insight and simply don't want to be alone. (Actually irrespective of troon shit, this also happens a whole lot to the kids who are exposed to deviant pornography and "kink-positive" adults who normalize and encourage this out of
at best misplaced fear based on an absurd misunderstanding of what constitutes severe sexual repression, which they denounce as morally repugnant and deserving of social ostracism. The LGBTWTFBBQNAMBLA+%$$! shit is egregious but let's not pretend trannies and queers are solely responsible for this.) If they're luckier than that, they settle into spinsterhood, find fulfilment elsewhere, and maybe raise cats or something. What might be the best case for many of them is if they find happiness in a more or less platonic life partnership with a similarly afflicted or otherwise largely asexual person.
The only thing that would perhaps reveal the truth would be Jazz taking testosterone. Not too long ago there was an article about a straight man who underwent the David Reimer treatment as a baby (lots of others did). He still lives as a woman (he knows he isn't one tho) and he said when he took testosterone he felt what's like being attracted to women.
I'm unsure this would even necessarily be enough to reveal much of anything. Abusing GnRH agonists as a long-term treatment to prevent puberty from ever happening, removal of the remaining sex organs, and further insult to the endocrine system with inappropriate sex hormones indefinitely doesn't just destroy the plumbing, the brain and its physiological and neurocognitive role in sexual development that comes with puberty is being irreversible damaged as well. Once certain developmental windows are closed, that's basically that. Despite how frivolously this treatment is being done to kids, or how it's trivialized as a "pause button" that we know how to easily reverse at any time, we do not have the means or understanding of the processes involved to literally get a re-do on any stage of human development. It's almost like trying to undo damage done to someone who knew nothing but severe abuse and neglect from birth through the age of 15 - total crapshoot how much of that you can fix. Even people who are smart enough to get that we aren't Legos made of meat seem prone to the antiquated notion of the brain as a "black box" we have no hope of fully understanding,, or the idea of mind/body duality that naturally evolves from such a view.
Basically, I'm kind of doompilled on this. The guys who got Reimer'd and later recovered some ability to feel sexual attraction of some type hopefully indicates I'm wrong, but I don't believe they could have without whatever factors led to them working to psychologically de=program themselves in the first place. Without that, I question if appropriate HRT would be sufficient to tell them anything. If it did... well... Reimer blew his brains out once he got an idea what he'd lost.
