I’d forgive it if they relentlessly dogged on these stories the way FishSticks does, but they’re too fag to even do that. Consuming bad content is one thing, listening to someone else consume it and give a half assed reaction like “weeeeell it’s not THAT bad….” When it is in fact that bad is infuriating. Just call it what it is and stop weaseling around, it’s the same Emperor’s New Clothes shit with trannies. I don’t know, maybe it’s just my autism but it makes me feel like an insane person when no one else is stating the obvious.

Paper Will also made a video about media made by cults, and in it he talks about content made by a White Supremacist Cult and he downloads a color booking page from their website and le epically trolls them by coloring it in with the trans flag colors and writing "FUCK YOU" on it.
Note: he went harder on the White Supremacist Cult than he did any other in the video iirc.
For the record the cult is actually a White Supremacist Cult, its not just shitlib speak for people he doesn't like.
He also made a video about 9/11 flash games which was equally as gay but I can't remember any certain details.
So yeah, he's a probably a kiddy toucher.

He has an entire segment in his video about some N. Korean kids in a talent show (4:37:00 time) and it is disturbingly nonce-y.
In general his commentary is awful and insanely uninformed. Like arguing that making media during a famine is bad, despite the social order it maintains will probably save more people than the little food it will create (it's not like they make some Hollywood level film).
He also does the usual lefty YouTube reviewer thing of being incredibly racist towards a group (North Koreans in this case) and assuming his audience is the same, so he starts lecturing how they are human and smart so we shouldn't think of them as lesser.
The first few hours are tolerable but it just gets worse and more and more subjective in a topic that doesn't fucking need lecturing of being bad.

New creeps just dropped. It's really weird so far
E: and weird it was. Not sure if was because they went on a weird-ass 20-minute tangent in the middle of it and killed the pacing, but part 2 feels kind of underwhelming to me honestly. I was really expending that the narrator would have gained a new perspective on what the showers were or at least some insight into what actually happened when the teacher and his friends first came there. Deepening the mystery that was so wonderfully laid out in part one. But no, he just got injured, fumbled around in the dark for a really long time, met a creepy child, and then was suddenly let go and that's the end of the story.
Huge missed opportunity, but the episode was really fun this time around, at least.

I remember this pasta! I read it a long time ago, and the version I read was really good, IMO. There wasn't really any explanation, no backstory, just a spooky idea that left you wondering what was going on. I'm sure this is no longer the case and there are 14 sequels that explain every single detail and scrote hair until there's zero mystery but tons of LORE.

This is easily one of the best episodes so far, IMO. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but it feels like there’s a definite improvement in a way.
Also Wendigoon preemptively and casually apologizing for being high, visibly catching Hunter off guard, only for it to turn out he was talking about pain meds post dental work (and not what we, including Hunter, were definitely all thinking,) was the most wholesome moment in the entire podcast’s history. God bless this man.
ETA I think I figured it out - it could be my imagination playing tricks on me but it seems like they’re taking the narration far more seriously (not sure how I feel about the sound effects, but it’s a nice touch) and keep their interjections and thoughts to themselves until a scene is done, instead of butting in mid reading and butchering the pacing. Everything flows so much better this way. I do agree with Godchu though; the long, off topic tangents have to be cut shorter. I don’t mind their existence, as that’s what makes it a podcast and not just an audiobook, and the stories can be genuinely interesting and or funny. But they drag them on for way too long.

I can get that perspective. With creep cast, I enjoy the way they bounce of each other in creepcast. The little anecdotes, ribbing, and bull shitting between passages of text is what I stick around for. This most recent one is filled with lil bits. Not to mention, it reminded me that I gotta watch the Wendigoon Tom and company adventures in New Orleans.

I related to that story way more than anyone should lol, I definitely got a kick out of it, even moreso the second time around for whatever reason, I guess since it had me thinking about it and in the meantime I managed to fully dredge up some of the memories that made it feel relatable
I never went so far as to make up fake women but when I was younger I didn't really understand what made people attractive, neither in general nor my own specific tastes. Just as an example, when friends would have a poster with bikini models or a sports illustrated swimsuit edition or something, the topic of 'who does everyone think is the hottest' would always come up. I didn't really get the question, so I'd just pick whichever girl stuck out the most to me, because I felt like I had to pick one since everyone else did, and it typically wasn't her that stuck out to me, but whatever she was doing, or the bikini had a smiley face on it which I thought was funny, stuff like that. My friends were unimpressed with my picks more often than not

I think the first 4.5 hours are sufferable but once it reaches modern times it's basically unwatchable. Besides creepy talking about kids, it hard turns into shilling the country populace as if having artistic merit saves them from the blame for allowing a brutal dictatorial regime. Not to mention it glances over the fact that S. Korea attempts to co-existence with the north just stalled for time until they got a nuke.

Been catching up with creepcast, finished the Borrasca episode and had to go read Borrasca V, and I see why they didn't cover it in the Episodes. Borrasca V is probably the most basic wish fulfillment story possible, the Good guys survive and the Bad guys die and that's literally the entire plot of Part V.
