Call me a glownigger if you want, but I know I'm right with this. This kind of thing isn't going to stop, at least not anytime soon, unless more drastic shit happens. People can complain, gatekeep, boycott, shed light on bad behavior of the people responsible for this, and spread the word all they want. A game or other project might fail, but the next one will crop up, and a lot of these bad actors have so many connections that they'll never be fully out of a job and will just hop from company to company, spreading their filth wherever they go. Now I'm not saying anything violent has to happen necessarily, but what's going on now just plain isn't enough.

that's how it always worked, we just notice it because we're sliding into a happening cycle (and I don't mean that as a fedpost, just open a history book to see what I mean).

There were many reasons YT removed dislikes, but it all comes down to the wrong people getting disliked.

The tool to add it back is basically based on some metric. There's also the fact normies don't dislike any more (since it's pointless to them and just gives free engagement) that skews the results to have more likes than dislikes.

Not really, I think it just some platformer/adventure where you play as some sort of cat (?) that swings a spear and you chuck at it anything that is darker than the PC.

As usual, the trannies could have read too much into it and thought it was some sort of allegory, but for them everything is an allegory for their "struggle".

There is absolutely no tranny-shit in the game (or any woke shit in general). It's just a unique survival metroid-vania, with sparse lore and hardcore gameplay.
However, the developers are massive leftists that had BLM shit during the Floyd riots, and the community is filled with trannies as always (but for a single player game, who cares)
Personally, I loved the game and I don't care about the opinions of the developers.

Griffin Gaming and Upper Echelon were the first major Youtubers to even mention Sweet Baby, and either one or both of them were both targeted with video takedowns over it. This was before anyone had even heard of Sweet Baby. They were the first people to get Sweet Baby into the popular consciousness.

It's easy to focus on the triggered liberal screaming no meme when you think about the university indoctrination problem, but for every one of them there are several that have internalized the normality of her and are willing to listen to "both sides" of center-left and those that smear menstrual blood on pentagrams to own Trump, but not the other half of the country because they are "extremists".

And they "vote blue, no matter who", citing the other side's extremists while ignoring their own because they believe smearing menstrual blood on pentagrams is normal but Trump being allowed on Twitter is not. They might privately admit that dosing kids with experimental HRT is fucked, but they're not going to vote for the side that goes to Trump rallies, that would be extremist! University messes with their sense of reality even if they don't go true believer. Or they hate it but publicly pretend to agree because the system replaces defective parts. These people are the majority in the halls of power.

So yeah, basically what you said / the Cathedral / manufacturing consent / post-truth society / etc. Academia needs to be deradicalized or defunded, but good luck with that.

the infiltration approach worked for the left because the people who ran those institutions before them were boomercons and liberals who take free speech seriously and unironically practice what they preach when they say shit like "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

to those types, allowing leftoid activists to set up shop inside their halls is some kind of moral victory, they pat themselves on the back for how open and tolerant that makes them.

the same approach does not work against institutions in leftist hands, because they do not share the boomercon weakness of openness and tolerance. the second they get a whiff of you being a rightoid, they'll purge you with extreme prejudice, and they proactively screen applicants and recruits to keep their political enemies locked out.
