Because when MauLer is passionate about something, it gets done. How come his Snyder Cut and Fallout videos were made relatively quickly while TFA is stuck in limbo?
What do you think is more likely, him playing fallout 1 or reading The Fellowship of the Ring?passionate enough to make a two hours video of a shity show. not passionate enough to play the game(s) the show is based off.
Part 5 of The Force AwakensWhat do you think is more likely, him playing fallout 1 or reading The Fellowship of the Ring?![]()
Apparently he doesn't read, at all. Something like 1 book read in his entire life. What do you think is more likely, him playing fallout 1 or reading The Fellowship of the Ring?![]()
To be fair, The Lord of the Rings Movies are much better than the Books, Tolkien deserved Puzzle Pieces for the Hobbet Sperging he did at the start of the first book. The Fellowship of the Ring?
I think the movies are more accessible. The books are pseudo-religious texts (that was the literal point). Pretty well written, but I don't blame anyone who prefers the movies, even the extended versions, being more to the point. To be fair, The Lord of the Rings Movies are much better than the Books, Tolkien deserved Puzzle Pieces for the Hobbet Sperging he did at the start of the first book.
The books have some of the best prose written in fantasy, and some of the best prose in the 20th century. Not that the movies aren't very good, but most of the best parts of the films are when they directly copy lines and dialogue from the books. To be fair, The Lord of the Rings Movies are much better than the Books, Tolkien deserved Puzzle Pieces for the Hobbet Sperging he did at the start of the first book.
That does not change that i dont need to hear about how frodos aunt is a karenThe books have some of the best prose written in fantasy, and some of the best prose in the 20th century. That is rather pathetic for someone who claims to love storytelling.Apparently he doesn't read, at all. Something like 1 book read in his entire life.
Yeah it's a bit weird. I don't know if he's heavily dyslexic - in which case he would be somewhat excused, though audio books are a thing - or just very lazy. That is rather pathetic for someone who claims to love storytelling.
Very lazy. Or being more generous, he just doesn't care. It's the same reason he rarely ventures outside of standard pop culture stuff for his reviews. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, I watch a few other people who primarily review pop culture stuff. It's popular for a reason and there's obviously an audience for it. It just stands out more with Mauler because he acts so pretentious about storytelling, despite having little to no experience with "deeper" storytellingYeah it's a bit weird. And keep in mind that he's always going on about how the source material doesn't matter and should judge the show on its own merits. Why did he need these experts if the source material doesn't matter?but lets not forget. Malur is not a fan of the series. he had alot of people help him make this video and give him all the info from the games he needed to shit on the show. his more of a mouth piece for the angry fans of his discord.
even on its merits, the show is awful. just shoving in as many references as possible and having characters do stupid things to waste the viewers time without any real pay off by the end. then they bait you with a new season when its just gonna be more of the same. And keep in mind that he's always going on about how the source material doesn't matter and should judge the show on its own merits. I'm not disagreeing with you, it's just important to highlight that he will only reference the source material when he doesn't like something.even on its merits, the show is awful. just shoving in as many references as possible and having characters do stupid things to waste the viewers time without any real pay off by the end. then they bait you with a new season when its just gonna be more of the same.
