Ah, I see you've taken the Leaf Blackpill. The People's Republic of Canadia are doomed, you can't convince me otherwise. That documentary, and the fact that Gale Welsh is still alive, is proof of that.

Yes and no: Stories such as that one excite a quality of disgust which leads me to ask what point there could be in encouraging the perseverance of a species which refuses to learn from its most egregious mistakes. So far, reproducing faster than it can go down the drain seems to be the only form of survival it exercises in earnest. Or perhaps I'm identifying too readily with the skin tags I cut off in the bath tub.

Because of the bottomless evil and cruelty on display from average people. Psychopaths have the excuse of being broken humans, but the court system is manned by normal people. Also, when you start traacking crime you realise this is actually not such a rare case at all.
 
I just got heartbroken again upon reading the thread title, but then read the wikipedia article, and it turns out the guy cheated on his girlfriend with the murderous crazy cunt, he totally deserved it. The poor baby was conceived from the cheating.

I've reckoned with this myself. It's disgraceful. All of this senseless heartbreak happened because of one man's sin. If he had any sort of understanding or wisdom, he wouldn't have caused such a devastating ripple effect through countless people's lives.

It reminds me of the story of King David. God can forgive you for these things, absolutely, but He'll let the consequences play out as well. You can't bang a psycho and expect no harm to come from it.
 
The fact that this documentary has a jumpscare during the "reveal" that Zachary was murdered is hilarious, felt like I was watching a shitty YouTube analog horror.
