If you consider every creator in CG part of EVS's Circle that would be close. If not, I'd be more accurately categorized in the slums. Though these days I don't quite want to fit in anywhere in CG.
I sold 1 comic to 212 people, and delivered on time. No variant covers. No toys. No statues. No tshirts. I've never formally appeared on EVS's channel either, and he retweeted my campaign once in the last 20 minutes that it was active on Kickstarter.
I was asked by EVS to create a CG Kings intro, and I had no idea how to characterize these guys because I don't absorb their content, and I find most of them pretty dull. I don't have a thing for watercooler chitchat about somebody's shenanigans in the DC's offices before dialup was a thing... (Ungrateful youth, blah blah blah) I never let him pay me. That's how you stay out of the grasp of someone like him. The minute he lends you some favor, it's assumed your life is owed in return. So I didn't allow him to pay me, and thus I'm this nebulous character in the background of CG.
As for Youtube faggery, I fell into that job at BIC. When Mr. Trent exited the brand there was no one to run the Youtube channel, and that fell to me as I was the guy that uploaded Mr Trent's pre-recorded videos, act as producer on their streams, and I'd make thumbnails following his direction. But 15,000 subscribers were there for John Trent, not me.. So things are rocky as the audience decides if they wanna hear me commentate on pop culture. I try to pick things that I care about, as opposed to "this is trending today, so I'll yell about this."

I can stomach bits and pieces of JDA's show until Pedo shows up then I have to BTFO. only reason I like the Stankstream is when your there, the rest is cringe as fuck.
Disney taking a hit today, no tears shed here. . . . hope it continues another 30 percent the next 3 weeks or so then maybe i'll consider getting in, and getting the dividend.

I have no energy left over for my channel. I'm not really good at complaining about media, I like to offer a solution. So while I'm handling BIC's Youtube stuff, I'm also developing a show called "Zero One" for BIC that doubles as a commentary show with a bit of it's own lore/visuals tagged on. Essentially, a sci-fi show told through 2 minute videos made with AI video and some real footage.
It's not finished yet, it'll need touch ups because I went too fast with the prep. It'll also need the golden visor mounted in place, and a few foam strips to balance it on my head properly for performance purposes. I'll be filming myself on my green screen for the Zero One show and mingling it with AI footage, and stock footage from websites like Freepik and Footagecrate (most likely Youtube free use stuff as well).
On top of that I'm creating a real deal manga, not a backwards fever dream built on the back of a starry eyed teenager. That's not for crowdfunding though. The lineart for the second installment of my comic series is ready, going for lettering before I go to Kickstarter with it. I'm also prepping for my 9th abdominal reconstruction surgery later this year, and settling the estate of my deceased family.
I don't relay any of this to brag. I'm just trying to show everyone that if I guy like me, that shits in a bag and has no family, can do all of this by himself... They can do SO MUCH MORE. I don't believe everyone everywhere is useless by default, but I think motivation and inspiration are hard to come by when consumerism is the mental pain relief drug of choice for most people on Earth. So if a weirdo like me gets a couple of guys into doing something with their lives instead of forking over another $20 at the movie theater, or sending another $50 superchat to rage about Star Wars---that's good enough.
tl;dr- I make stuff so other people can see a useless guy like me doing something with himself, and maybe give it a try too.

As I've said before, Ethan is a misanthrope. So is Malin. So are a lot of artists. Ethan loves the sound of his own voice, he loves attention, he doesn't give a fuck about his audience and customers, though. He is not a people person.
Hate him or not, Gary of Nerdrotic genuinely enjoys meeting and interacting with his audience. He knows how to create a fun, inviting atmosphere. EVS should have stuck to creating comics instead of trying to be a full-time internet personality. But he's a raging egomaniac, so he has to try and beat his enemies at their own game.
